SOMETIME AROUND 07/01/2001 I MADE THE MISTAKE OF ODERING WHEELS AND TIRES FROM VICTORIA TIRES AND WHEELS BASED OUT OF HUNTINGTON PARK CALIFORNIA. THEY WERE TO COME OCCORDING TO THEIR WEBSITE MOUNTED AND BALANCED. THE TOTAL PRICE INCLUDING S&H WAS $1915.45.

THE WHEELS AND TIRES WERE BEING SOLD AT A LOCAL DEALER FOR COSIDERABLY HIGHER, AND ACCORDING TO THE SALESMAN, COULD NOT BELIEVE THEY COULD BE SOLD AT SUCH A LOW PRICE EVEN AFTER I SHOWED HIM THE PRINT OUT FROM VICTORIA TIRES AND WHEELS UNLESS THEY POSSIBLY WERE DAMAGED OR NOT AS WHAT THEY APPEARED. I THOUGHT MAYBE HE JUST WANTED A BIGGER PROFIT.ANYWAY THE ORDER WAS GOING TO BE CHARGED ON MY VISA AND I FELT I WOULD BE PROTECTED.

MY ORDER ARRIVED ON 07/19/2001, BUT ONLY AFTER I AGREED TO PAY $415.00 COD BECAUSE VICTORIA TIRES AND WHEELS COULD WAS ONLY ALLOWED TO CHARGE $1500.00 ON CREDIT CARDS FOR SOME REASON OR OTHER. NOW I AM ONLY PROTECTED FOR $1500.00. HELLO MISTAKE NUMBER TWO!

UNFORTUNATELY MY ORDER ARRIVED UNCOMPLETE AND IT TOOK SEVERAL CALLS AND DAYS LATER BEFORE THEY WERE READY FOR INSTALLATION.

ITS NOW 10/09/2001 THE WHEELS AND TIRES ARE DEFECTIVE AS I HAVE BEEN AT THREE DEALERS WHO HAVE ALL INFORMED MY OF THE SAME THING.BAD WHEELS, BAD TIRES, NO WARRANTIES BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT BOUGHT LOCALLY. VICTORIA TIRES AND WHEELS IS TELLING ME TO MUCH TIME HAS EXPIRED, OF COURSE I FINALLY GOT MY RECEIPT 09/27/2001. AND I HAVE RECEIPTS DATING BACK TO WHEN THE TIRES WERE ORIGINALLY MOUNTED ON 08/01/2001 STATING THEY WERE BENT.

VICTORIA TIRES AND WHEELS IS REFUSING TO ADMIT ANY FAULT. MY CREDIT CARD WILL PROBABLY BE CREDITED $1500.00 BUT I WILL BE OUT $415.00 WHICH I DID PAY COD. PLUS ANY ADDITIONAL MONEY TO GET THE WHEELS SENT BACK TO CALIFORNIA. SEEMS THIS IS WHY THEY ONLY WILL ALLOW YOU TO CHARGE SO MUCH ON YOUR CREDIT CARD SO THEY GET THEIR WHEELS AND TIRES BACK TO SELL AGAIN, YOU LOSE WHAT YOU PAY COD PLUS ANY ADDITIONAL MONIES YOU MAY HAVE TO INCUR DEALING WITH THIS PEOPLE.

THE MANUFACTURER IS NO HELP BECAUSE THE WARRANTIES COVER ONLY THE PURCHASER, WHO HAPPENS TO BE VICTORIA TIRES AND WHEELS. SEEMS LIKE THEY HAVE A NICE LITTLE SCAM GOING. I WHICH I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT LOCALLY. WOULD HAVE SAVED SOME MONEY.

Victoria Tire

It's 2007, and I suppose if you have had no problems with the tires or wheels you received you have no issues with the company. If you have product problems like I have had on 2 occasions, they make promises and then ignore you. I got 1 bad tire and wheel in April this year, and approximately 4 months later lots of promises but no results. Also have another vehicle with 4 Victoria tire wheels and the paint is chipping off all 4 of them. Also, try to call them. Typical wait time is 5-15 minutes, and then you get an answer and are asked to wait again or get no response at all. Absolutely the WORST experience with any company I ever had. Yes, the sales managers seem nice and tell you what you want to hear, but absolutely no integrity or follow through!

My Name is John Quincy Johnson, Store manager for Victoria Tire Co. In this era we are all aware that the BBB is very much outdated. I advise any and all consumers who are truly interested in learning abouta companies business practices to take a look at EBAY.

Most large companies do at least a fair share of
business there and unlike most other forums for
business EBAY has a rather unique quality in that itbasically forces all involved parties to report (via feedback) their experience. It can be positive, neutral, or negative but no matter what it must be left. If you take a look at our rating it is about 99% positive. It is much
more relative, up to date, and will give you an accurate unbiased piece of information pie to help you decide on who you would like to deal with. We @ Victoria Tire Co.are not and do not claim to be perfect. We do however ship an awful lot of product and have an awful lot of very satisfied customers, many of which have found that with a little patience and effort on both parts can come away from the wheel buying experience with an even better than advertised deal. Please, as a well informed consumer understand that everyone remembers ANYTHING bad and very few will WRITE about ANYTHING GOOD.

I Was The Manager @ Victoria Tire And wheel For 10 years.I Resigned on May 21 2003.
This Company Should Never have Been listed In The Rip Off Report .They are a well Run family buisness.

If they were Rip-offs.(as Labeled) They Would Not Be In buisness Today.I Am E-Mailing My Support for Victoria Tire.. After all,The House,The Boat,The Sand Toys.and a very happy Wife ...I Owe to Them! and Now My New Buisness venture all came Possible,thru the success in sales for me @victoriatire.com. So please Support Them...They are a great Family Owned buisness,and they put in countless hours To get to where They are at today And if You have Warranty issues .

You Should Have Results From the Victoria Tire. Regarding the said defective product ,you sent in for inspection? The Consumer who Started this Rip off Report Never turned It in For Inspection..(I Know Because I would have offerd Given him a Return Goods Authorization. #
What was he afraid of ?

He Probably Knew That e was at fault
After all everything was godd when he received them...any Way Long Rein VICTORIA TIRE.They Are A Great Buisness Then...Today...Tomorrow.

I recently bought tires and wheels (almost $2000) from this company because of their unbelievable (low!) prices listed on their web site. I am fortunate enough to live near enough that I drove over to check them out. I discovered excellent customer service, a wide selection of tires and wheels and the same low prices. You need to visit the store to fully understand why they can offer such low prices- it ain't much on looks. It's dirty, unpainted and in a bad neighborhood. Low overhead and volume sales is how they keep the prices low. As I sat there for an hour while they processed my order the delivery trucks were lined up to pick up orders. The mainstay of their business seems to be dealer installed wheels/tires. They wouldn't stay in business if they didn't provide great sevice to these guys.
I also looked at a lot of inventory because most of it is out in the open and I did not see one defective wheel- nothing but top quality product being offered. I know the next time I want wheels and tires that I would go back to Victoria Tire.

We have been in business since 1965, and have done our very best to ensure customer service and satisfaction. Call the Better Business Bureau and you will find that we have been conducting fair business practices for over 35 years.

The accusations made about our business are false and amount to slander. We have never in 38 years, sold damaged products as if they were new. We would never devise such a "scheme." We have been in business for so long, and have reached the level where we are at today because we do our best to make the consumer happy.

For the past several years, we have been recognized by the United Tire and Wheel Group and the Tire Factory for reaching over one million dollars in purchases. We sell millions of dollars of inventory a month. Victoria Tire is one of the strongest and most established businesses in the industry. Such outright lies are hurtful and there will be a lawsuit pending soon.

Consumers should know that former employees, or anyone "out to get" Victoria Tire can claim to be customers and make false statements on this web site. There are no measures taken to ensure that real customers make the claims, or that they have any validity. We will be happy to further explain our policies and lay to rest these false statements.

All of our wheels are covered by the manufacturers standard warranties. The basic manufacturer warranty on a wheel covers workmanship and materials. What that means is that if the problem with the wheel is the fault of the manufacturer, the wheel will be covered by the warranty. If the the driver, or something in the road caused the problem, then the wheel is not covered by the warranty. The same is true for tires. Many times, someone will drive on a set of tires, and damage them through road hazards such as a piece of metal lying in the road. They will try to get a refund, claiming the tires were defective. We cannot be held responsible for such events.

We are dedicated to customer service, but when someone damages wheels or tires by driving into a curb or getting into a car accident, it is out of our hands. If there is any fault on our side or the manufacturer's, we by all means, will grant a refund, and accept returns. We have no problem at all with granting refunds and returns when justified. But we will not refund someone who damages the goods after purchase and claims that it is our fault. These customers then get upset and spread lies.

Again, we have been in business since 1965 and have always taken great pride in customer satisfaction. One must keep in mind however, that there are occasional consumers who are out to "rip off" a business. We will not stand for such practices, and will do our best to thwart such buyers.

Keep in mind, that the same people can always come back to this site and make more false accusations, claiming to be different people. Your best bet is to contact the Better Business Bureau or us with any concerns or questions.

I also had problems with Victoria Tire, my problems was with defective tires. They gave no warenty, and refused to replace my tires.
