I really wish I knew about Rip-off Report before I dealt with this company! I always try to support local, small businesses, especially in this struggling economy. Unfortunately, this time didn't pan out.

I placed an order online in June 2010, for four items, totaling approximately $43 - which I paid through Paypal. I received only two of the items. I contacted their customer service at info@vikinget.com, and received a reply that a refund of approximately $16 was on its way. Two weeks later, I hadn't received the refund yet, so I called and was told that there was an error and the refund wasn't sent, but it would be going out that day. This back and forth continued for three months, until one of the employees sent me an email stating that I should "spend this much time trying to get a job so my husband wouldn't have to support me." (That's right folks -THIS small business is doing so well in this recession that they don't need your money!) The past two months, they have ignored my emails and phone calls. Unfortunately, I've passed the time frame to be able to open a Paypal dispute (already tried). I've tried requesting the refund directly through Paypal, and have sent three reminders, but they ignore those as well.
