All I did was call the phone number at the bottom of my Rite Aid receipt, to enter my code for their sweepstakes, as I've done many times before, and suddenly I was asked to enter my phone number. Usually they don't ask for a number, since my info is linked to my store discount card. Then of course I got that smooth talkin' company calling my cell phone within 2 minutes!!! They wouldn't let me call back after I got finished driving, as they are trained like an army of magazine n**i's, and I was very confused.

To start, they say " congratulations, you have been selected to receive $250 in gift cards, where you can buy what you'd like online, from companies like .........., isn't that great? And there is no catch!!! I know, hard to believe, huh?" ......... Then the sales scheme continues until you've given them your name and address. The true scam begins when they ask you to please give their manager a good review on their job as a customer service rep. Of course people that are patient and kind agree, and therefore get tricked into starting out on a good note with Mr Con Artist manager.

This is where the "catch" begins!!! So technically the actress from before didn't lie. They go so fast, telling you that the cost per week is $3.43, but don't say per magazine!!! They are very sly, ruthless sharks. Vern was the manager I spoke to, and he didn't answer me directly. Obviously his only objective was to get my verbal consent, AFTER he had already got my Visa info, based from the claim of "needing it for verification purposes... And nothing would come out of my account until the date of my choice, and also, cuz they are so understanding,

if I couldn't make a payment anytime, just call and they'd move it up until the next fee". So nice!!! NOT, they bill you double the next fee date!! Luckily I called the day after, cuz my online banking showed me they took out a dollar the day before!!!  Spread the word, tell anyone 18 and up to be aware!!!! You'd think we'd all know by now, but they are real pro's, ..... Pulitzer Prize winners of scamming!
