Violet's Mini Pigs Horrible experience for my friend and I ..we lost 3 pigs to Violet's mini pigs !!!!! Depaw Indiana

It took me awhile to write this as I am a very fair person and gave Jennah the owner of Violet's Mini pigs a fair chance. I purchased my first pig in 2018 from Jennah we instantly fell in love. My 5 year old daughter adored her. Approximately 2 months later my husband called me while I was at work stating she was sick. I came home and rushed her to an ER vet over and hour away. Her heart rate was slow and temp was low. I had to pay $1,200 that night and they said Ito leave her so they could run more tests. She was put on life support. I told them I would spend whatever to save her !! The next day she passed away. They said it was neurological. My bill was over $6,000!!! I thought it was just a fluke thing and I understand things happen that we can't control. I did not blame Jennah for her death. Jennah agreed to replace her but I still had to pay for the flight for the next one. My husband picked up a male piggy at the airport and that night he was having convulsing seizures. We got him to the vet in the morning and they said he was dehydrated and hypothermic. Once again did not blame Jennah. Jennah agreed to give me another pig but I still had to pay for the spaying. It costs Jennah nothing to replace a pig and I was afraid to only have one. Since losing our first Paisley was so traumatizing for us and my daughter. I did not want to fly another pig so she agrees to meet us in Dayton Ohio.

We got a small tiny black pig and named her Minnie. Minnie never was able to gain weight and my vet figured she was the runt. A few months later I took her back for blood work and she was filled with parasites even though she had the proper treatment for parasites. The bloodwork showed her white blood count was low and the vet insisted I drive her to the Ohio State University for testing. I drive over 3 hours one way. Jennah swore she had worms because I rescued another pig from a bad situation but he was treated and vetted when I brought him home as the other were. The board certified vets insisted she was very sick and her bones were brittle because her body was absorbing proper nutrition. I took her home and she lived approximately a week. I fed her with a syringe and she withered away to nothing. I had a necropsy done in her which showed she had a liver shunt which was from Jennah interbreeding the pigs. Jennah said she would replace her and I told her I couldn't take the heartache again!! A friend of mine also purchased a pig from Jennah and he died at 6 months old suddenly. Jennah is a money hungry breeder and does not care about the welfare of the animals. And I forgot to mention they all came to me with mites and worms! My friend also got mited from her pig. Please do not purchase a pig from her . They are not healthy and you will experience nothing but a heartache. My friend visited her farm and she said the living conditions were terrible and they were crammed and not properly cared for. I would be happy to answer anyone's questions about her. As I still own one pig from her and so far he made it a year which I'm thrilled but who knows what his future holds. I did rescue 2 pigs from bad situations and they both are doing well. I can at least live with myself not sure how Jennah does it!! So wrong in so many ways. Unethical breeder
