VIP Discount Auto Center rip-off Presque Isle Maine

On Wednesday March 12, 2003 I went to VIP to get my driver side tire looked at because the car was hard to control. I had asked them nicely to do the free 12 point inspection check, check my driver side tire, check my alternator, and to check my driver side wiper because it kept falling off.

I saw my car up on the lift, the jerks that were checking it out where just standing there laughing at my car as they always laugh at my vehicles. With my very own eyes and my girlfriend right there with me, all they did was shake my driver side tire side to side then remove my car from the shop.

Some fat jerk comes out and says "I wouldn't drive your car around if I were you!"! I said "why?". The POS jerk says, "well, your tie rod end is about to fall off, but we can't do anything tonight"! Ok, how did the jerk ecpect me to get home? So I set up an appointment for the next day and took my chances driving my car. I then asked him "did they check everything I asked you to check?". Jerk replies with, "yeah they checked everything, all is fine!". I knew different because I watched them with my car as I have had problems with VIP before.

So I was like "whatever, I'll just hope somebody else is working tomorrow and I'll have them check everything I want checked!".

To my surprise, all the same a$$holes were working when I brought my car for it's appointment on March 13, 2003 at 1:00 P.M.! Once again, I asked them for the free 12 point inspection check, check my alternator, to do a tire balance and rotation since I was getting my driver side outer tie rod end replaced and a all wheel alignment done due to the outer tie rod end, and to check my driver side wiper because it kept falling off.

I knew there was going to be problems with the all wheel alignment because not even a year ago I went to VIP for an alignment and had to go back 4 seperate times until they got the specifications right. So they FAT A$$ Jerk told me to come back in a few hours for my car, knowing I had no other way to get around and unfortunitly I live in the middle of no where.

So I go back 3.5 hours later after walking all over Northern Maine. I go in to get my car. They hand me my paper work, and I am only being charged for the outer tie rod end and 4-wheel alignment. This is fishy now! So I ask "was the free 12 point inspection done?, were my tires balanced and rotated?, how is my alternator?, did you fix my driver's side wiper so it doesn't keep falling off?". Answer was NO!!!!

I was extremely p!$$ed Off! I was like "whatever, I'll just go to SEARS and get a real tire balance & rotation, atleast I can safely drive my car now. Boy was I ever so wrong! I get in my car and start driving it. As I am going down the road, I feel my car shaking all over the place and the steering wheel is still fighting my for control! Now I was even more P!ssed OFF!

The employees, the work, and the service totally sucks so bad, that I am just writing them off as loss. if I go back there, I am not going to get anything, but attitude from them like I always get. If VIP wasn't the only repair center up here, i wouldn't have gone there at all. Now I have learned to go else where, even if it takes me three hours to get there!

Hopefully, somebody will help me recover the money I lost to VIP so I can take my car to the dealer for an alignment and get it done right!
