I lost my job and took my Hyundai Sante Fe here because I got a gas tank recall which made me very happy because I was getting 2 miles to a gallon.

I knew when I got there that my struts needed to be replaced. I told them at vision hyundai webster to use the lift so me tires would be flat on a surface so the struts wouldn't break.
2 of the mechanics laughed at me & put it on the  ramp anyway where the tires hang so the struts broke & they had the gall to quote me a price to fix it.

& then they said the gas tank was fine. How is getting 2 miles per gallon fine?
I told them the top of the tank had a leak because I'd get 2 miles to a gallon until I got down to 2/3 of a tank. They told me it would cost them more to replace the tank & sent me home with hanging struts & no gas tank replacement.
I watched the whole time & Knew they did not check the top of the tank to make sure it was leaking

had to say this about the matter (in my words that is) we determined the gas tank wasn't leaking & found some problems with his truck & proceeded to not want to pay for any further diagnoses or repair.
I came there for a free recall!! & they broke my truck & tried to get money out of me & then told me this
"We won't mark down you were here so you don't have to pay for the diagnoses we did"
that is because they did not tell me the struts were hanging. I found out on the trip home going 15 miles an hour & trying to make sure it won't go off the road & now 2 weeks later I have no car to use & only just started a job that my 2 neighbors are nice enough to drive me to.
I placed a complaint with the bbb & hyundai corportation

AND THEY KEEP SAYING THEY WOULD LIKE TO TOW IT IN TO LOOK AT IT BUT NEVER NEVER DO THEY ADMIT THAT THEY SNICKERED & SAID IT WOULD BE ALRIGHT & PUT IT ON THE RAMP AGAINST MY OBJECTIONS
NOT ONLY DID THEY SNICKER AT ME, GO AGAINST ME WISHES & DENIED ANY WRONG-DOING BUT THEY WANT TO TOW IT IN TO SEE "IF" THEY BROKE SOMETHING. - THEY MADE THE STRUTS FALL & THEN TRIED TO QUOTE PRICES TO GET THEM FIXED

SO THE STRUTS FELL & THEY BLAME ME

DO NOT GO HERE!!
HERE IS WHY-
1) LAUGH AT A CUSTOMER IN A RUDE MANNER ( TRIED TO MAKE ME LOOK STUPID)
2) IGNORED MY PLEAS NOT TO PUT IT ON THE RAMP
3) TRIED TO GET MONEY OUT OF ME TO FIX THE STRUTS THAT FELL DUE TO THEIR IGNORANCE & RUDENESS (Extortion)
4) had the internet sales person email my neighbor who was trying to help instead of the manager until many emails later
& were snyde the whole time
5) THEY NEVER BRING UP THAT I ASKED THEM TO NOT PUT IT ON THE RAMP SO DENYING IT ALL

 

also I do know the neck to the gas tank was leaking BUT THEY WOULD NOT CHECK THE GAS TANK TO SEE IF IT WAS LEAKING TOO!

Because I admitted it & told them how to avoid to futher damage the sturts then they should have abidded by my wishes. But they just laughed at me.

 

it is the same that if a person has a prior medical condition and gets a job that knows of the condition & gets hurt on the job the employers still have to pay compensation.

I hurt my ankle in high school many years ago & won my case recently for getting hurt on the job

Does not matter if this car had a preexisting condition. I warned them about it & how to avoid further damage but they ignored my please.

 The alleged strut problem is caused by old age and high mileage, period. Since YOU fully admit here the struts were in such poor condition normal repair services could be dangerous, then YOU also knew it was too dangerous to be driving this car.

I have called him numerous times as the bbb has asked & the owner, terry smith just asks me to drop the bbb report but when I ask what he will do for me he says fix the car once I drop the bbb report first.

When I asked him what will happen to me if I drop the bbb complaint & he refuses to fix my car he ignores me & now won't even answer his phone and is evasive
