Vital Recovery Services Illegal Harassment, Calling Continually For Someone Who Never Lived Here Norcross Georgia

This company has been calling via an 800 number (800-797-6093) for weeks on end and leaving messages for a person who doesn't live here. As far as we can tell, this person never lived here, either, although the name is somewhat similar to mine, although it's not the same at all.

I called back several times to tell them they have a wrong number but I still get repeated automated calls, sometimes five or six in under an hour.

When I call back, some clueless call center flunkie answers, but, as I said, is totally clueless and unhelpful and never removes my number.

I have filed reports with donotcall.gov, with the Better Business Bureau (who, for some bizarre reason gives them an "A" rating, even though there are hundreds of complaints lodged against them -- makes you wonder who's in bed with whom, if ya know what I mean...), and I am about to file a complaint with the Attorney General of Georgia, although I'm not sure they'll do me any good as they claim they don't do investigations (your tax dollars at work, Georgians...or not, in this case).

This is openly threatening, fraudulant and harassing behavior on the part of Christopher Schuler and his enterprise. These bottom-feeding third party "debt collectors" apparantly buy up old paper, even if it's no longer collectible, or was paid off years and years ago, and threaten and bully people until some poor souls (many of whom are elderly -- many complaints filed are initiated by adult children on behalf of their quite aged and often infirm parents -- how evil is that?) pay up, or give up bank account information and end up with their life savings stolen.

This company and it's CEO, Christopher Schuler are no better than Bernie Madoff and his cohorts.

I suggest you NEVER return their calls or respond in any way to these scum. They are engaging in illegal behavior. Never give them personal information. Never respond.
