Volt Services Group Employee Files Stolen From Volt Office and Used For Identity Theft - Volt Ignores All Claims Of Ever Happening Orange, CA Nationwide

Many years ago I was contacted by recruiter from Volt out of a California Office (I live in Dallas) about a position and submitted my resume to whatever company it was. I was then told that the company wanted me to start immediately and I went to the local Volt office in Richardson, TX to fill out all my paperwork to be hired and I brought copies of my driver’s license / Social Security card that went into that packet as well. The packet was mailed to that California Volt office and filed there. Well a day later I was called and I was told that the company decided to hire someone internally and I didn’t get the job. No big deal, this happens all the times with all Technical recruiters.

Well about 6 months went by and I get a call from a police officer in California (the city had an unusual name and I can’t remember) was told that they had found a ring of thieves that had copies of my W2 form, I9 Form, Drivers License, Social Security Card and other papers. Then he informed me were taken from the filing room at the Volt Office in California. The Officer also told me there were many other files found that contained employee records from people that worked at Volt as well as mine. I got a few more calls from the officer over the next few months and the case was still being worked and then I never heard from them again.

Well I knew I had screwed up my credit and I knew I couldn’t get anything approved so I wasn’t really worried about it. I still checked all three credit agencies and my scores where right around where I knew the were. Well it wasn’t till a few months later that my credit scores started dropping in significant numbers. I was still young and inexperienced back then with credit agencies and how everything worked, but I found out the hard way that even though no one could get approved with my credit, for each inquiry  made to the credit bureaus that gets denied a negative mark is made on your account which lowers your credit score. So even though there wasn’t any financial burden put on me there was significant damage done to my credit ratings due to the number of accounts that they tried to setup over a course of time.

I tried to call and email the Volt Offices several times and no one would ever contact me back. I tried to contact that police officer and never got a call back. When recruiters email me from Volt I would return those emails with this story and never get a response.

The mental anguish this has caused me has really been hard on me and I really hate how I feel every time this comes back to haunt me over and over just because someone was too cheap to buy a filing cabinet with a lock.

The funny thing is no matter how many emails I send to that company and no matter how many comments I put on their Facebook or other review sites for Volt telling my story, No one ever Denies that this happened which if someone wasn't guilty that's the first thing they would do.
