Von Der Stadtrand German Shepherds/Clayton Warichak German Shepherd Puppy Purchased, Papers To Register With AKC Never Received! Milwaukee Wisconsin

I purchased a puppy from Clayton Warichak on Aug. 1st, 2007 for $1,200.00.
I was interested in joining the German Shepherd Dog Club of Wisconsin which requires AKC registration of the puppy. In my signed, purchase agreement, it states that "The Seller agrees to provide all necessary paperwork to the Buyer in order to register the animal with the AKC." I left a message with the purpose of my call on Dec. 7th and again on the 8th with no return call. I called once again on the 9th and spoke with a man by the name of John. I had met him when I purchased the puppy. The first thing he said to me was, "I'm not going to pay for that." The conversation deteriorated from there. He said, "you want to spend 5 or 600 bucks to join a club for fun and games?" He then proceeded to describe the club in unflattering terms. I told him that it did not matter what reason I had for wanting to join the club, that in my puchase agreement, I was to be provided with the necessary paperwork to register my puppy with the AKC. He said, "that was wrong, that shouldn't be in there." The conversation abruptly ended when I asked him, "Why would I spend 1,200.00 on a dog that I was not able to register, when I could have purchased one for 600.00 that I could?" Apparently, he became ensensed with my inference of the quality of his dog being compared to one that was worth less, and said, "If you call this number again, I will call the police." It was at this point that he hung up on me. I have subsequently filed a complaint with the BBB (#44040068). Clayton Warichak had until Dec. 28th to respond to the BBB and he did not. My next course of action will be to contact the District Attorney to file a complaint of fraud against him and to file a small claims case with the Circuit Court. I wouldn't trade my puppy for the world, but I sure wish I would have done my homework before doing buisiness with Clayton.
