I bought a flash drive thru Buy.com. It came from a company named Vox Products but the packaging said whitebox.com. It was $42 for a 2gb flash drive plus some useless software disk. The drive sort of worked about twice, then wouldn't work anymore. I did get a replacement from Buy.com but havn't used it, because I meanwhile had gotten a flash drive from a reputable company, and used it instead.
I was supposed to get $30 back in rebates after 10 weeks. After 6 months went by I started enquiring by email about my rebates. They finally answered me and said my rebate was approved and I would get it by the end of June. When I still didn't get it, they then said it would be mailed next week. That was almost 4 weeks ago now. It has now been almost 8 months, and this fraudulent company doesn't even answer my emails any more.

I'm not going to begin by disagreeing with the customer about the substantive amount of time it took him to get his rebate money. However, we did honor our rebate commitment. This customer received a combined check for $30.00 on August 8th, 2008 for his purchase of the Thumb Combo Drive software. Mr. Welch, we apologize for you getting the run-around.
