On 21st May, I have called WEA+ customer services to inquire about the availability of a Samsung Galxy S -III Minin (Sim-Free-White), which I was told available so I placed on-line order and paid the full cost of £199.92.

I received an immediate confirmation without stating a delivery date. When I checked the status on-line I noticed it was due between 25/5 -04/06. 

After a week, I checked the order status on line and found that it still shows the same so I waited until 04th June but nothing arrived. 

I called customer services to see what happen to my order and why it did not arrive? To my surprised, I was told that the order is not available and that they are waiting a delivery from Europe which could take 7-9 more days!! When I asked why I was not notified about such delay, the guy could not answer!! 


As the phone was intended as a gift, I explained to the customer service rep my disappointment which he sounded sympathetic towards it. I asked if I could get  an immediate full refund since I have been waiting for almost 2 weeks without receiving my order and to my surprise, he said that should I cancel the order, I will not be paid until after 30 days!!!!!! He suggested that if I am desperately in need for the phone he will see if there is alternative one he can offer which could be delivered faster. Once again, to my astonishing surprise, he proposed identical model and colour but at a higher price and told me that if I were to change my order to this model, they can arrange faster delivery 2-3 days. Reluctantly to if he could help by suggesting alternative or similar phone which could be delivered quicker!! I then asked if he could guarantee the delivery with 3 days but he said he cannot!!!

I was so upset and angry at the same time not because he was trying to con me to buy/order  the same phone I have previously ordered (but with different code) at higher price, but because he could not assure me of its delivery which will not at all surprised me if it never happen!!

As a reputable and professional business, they should have notified me earlier about the delay and as a courtesy could have offered alternative with guaranteed faster deliver at no extra charge!

I have opted to cancel my order and not sure if I will ever get a refund but if not, I shall take a legal action.
