I was a customer of walmart for such a long time that when we decided to purchase a computer, my husband decided picked up a disc from the store to install it.The service was for $9.98 a mth.that's what's advertised.When you sign up you have to give a Credit Crd # to to sign on. So when the trial run was up in 3 mths.the charge for $9.98 applied, but on the second mth a charge of $29.95 applied. so we called and no one had an explaintion for the charge & wouldn't revert it.
I called again the next day and spoke to guy who said "yeah I don't see why there would be a charge for that much but there is nothing I could do but give you and your family an extra 2 mths.of service at no charge". Why? You took payment that wasn't authorized give it back.

When I calld again the next day to complain about the charge & started threatenin to contact the Better Business Bureau and the Atty. General's office the young lady said that there is nothing she could do so I ask to speak to the mgr. none of the managers would come to the phone. But the young lady came back to the phone and said o.k we will reverse the charge and gave me a time frame for the credit to show and it did.The service people are not very customer service oriented .Because it took almost 30-35 min. to get anything out of her. And how can a big company such as walmart not have a mgr. avaiable to take customer complaints?

Color me naive we tried again thinkin the first time was an error in payment processin dept.and these things happen. So,again insert disc and go through the trial run.The mthly charge went through after the trail run for $9.98 each mth. until the sec. mth.and then a charge of $53.25 showed up on my bank statement. I called the bank to see if it was their error. She informed me the charge was put through by Walmart-on-line. We called the # that was given an again for customer service and no one had an answer.

But,at this time i"m getting piss because the persons who took the call was of Indian decent and again tried to give us 3 mths. service with not charge but there was no mgr. to speak to and no one would reverse the charge.This time the answer he could give for the charge was that one of the log in names which is my husband's was using a 1-800#.But the disc gives the #"S to call there is no 1-800#.

Just to make sure that we hadn't set ourself up with this error. I went home a tried dialing the internet service with my husband's log in and there is no 1-800# list as potential # to dial.The disc gives you nothing but local # to use for the dial up serivce. So I called again now I being given 3 mths. of serivce @ no charge.Now why would I want 3 mths of more lousy service,if I'm having so much problems with the service? I needed the money that wasn't theirs to take.

Walmart's claim is to be family oriented and when i tried to explain to the person that my husband had been out of wrk.for some time due to all these hurricans that came through in the Orlando area they didn't give a rats behind and wouldn't do anything to assure me that this wouldn't happen again of to take their $9.98 service charge out of the $53.25 and give back the $43. so I could pay my daycare.

So I called again and spoke to the billing dept. and the young man said that they're not going to give us the money back and when threaten with the Atty. General's office because this is ridiculos he states that he's in India and if I had issued a complaint it wouldn't affect them in anyway.No wonder each time I called some-one with an Indian accent kept answerin the phones.

Thanks walmart rip-off for takin funds that didn't belong to you in the first place and our family now know that People or person who say that they are family oriented are not. Because they will screw you to make their bottom line.
