Walmart Money Card Green Dot Careless,Deceptive and Redundant.With a touch of Hypocracy Monrovia California

I have been a happy customer for 4 years with Walmart VISA Money Pack Green Dot  card.

My husband sends me a money pack from out of state and as stated in User agreement No.7 I use the money to pay bills and leave the excess on the card for walmart shopping or ebay purchases. ALSO in agreement with the rules.

This morning I awoke, checked my phone and seen my husband sent me the money pack number. I, as usual, call money pack to re-load. I was directed to a customer service agent instead of the normal re-load routine.

The agent proceeds to tell me that my card has been blocked! WHAT!?!?

I ask the agent well what can I do ? How can I get the money for our bills due in 2 days? She was very uncaring/unconcerned. Tells me my card has been blocked because I used it too much. I broke rule No. 7 in the user agreement. Which the bullet point are that the card may be used for ATM withdrawls, Cash back at Walmart, and to Pay Bills. THE EXACT reasons we have used this card for 4 years. But we also use it for a safer online purchase routine such as for amazon or ebay...

In the user agreement it DOES state that if they feel we use the card too much they can put a block on it and do not need to inform us prior to their actions.

Her solution was to put our $450 money pack (since my card can no longer be used NOR will I be allowed to get a new one) in PayPal... well Paypal is useless to us for our bills we have to pay locally.

In the end I had to request a refund, Which will take over 2 weeks. I had to borrow the money from a friend. And now my love for the ease and convenience of this card is shot!!

Why a Pre Paid card company can say "use our card to pay your bills" and then say "you use your card too much we have shut you down" and mess up your whole life is beyond me but... This was not the only mess up we have had with Moneypacks.

Prior to this there were moneypacks sold that were not even legit and that was a whole other mess in its own.

Has anyone else realized if you want to write them a letter... it goes to a PO BOX. Makes no sense. And they got 4 years of monthly fees from us just to do us dirty. Shame.
