Walmart Money Network These sleazeballs are STILL holding my grandson's salary. Bentonville Arkansas

My then-teenage grandson worked at a Walmart in North Augusta, SC for several months last year (2018). He was paid with an EXCEED MasterCard debit card. He left WalMart and on February 01, 2019, his Walmart Money Network EXCEED debit card was placed on hold with no notification. When he tried to make a purchase with that card about a week later, it was declined. When he called to find out why he reached a phone bank in India where he was told that there was some vague "identification" issue on February 1st and that the Patriot Act (?!?!) required them to freeze his account.

We have since placed eleven frustrating phone calls to the Walmart Money Network, trying to get them to release my grandson's $537.84. Over and over again we have complied with their requests, first e-mailing them a PDF with the only documents they requested. Every time called, we were advised to wait two or three business days while the almighty "COMPLIANCE DEPARTMENT" reviewed and verified the documents. Then, when we followed up with a call to see if the money was accessible, we were told that compliance had informed them that they needed another form of documentation. This frustrating process has, as of today (03/06/19), occurred two more times.

This time we were told that the document had been misplaced but (lucky us!) the "COMPLIANCE DEPARTMENt" now had the documentation we had e-mailed five days ago and, of course, we need to wait two or three business days to call back to make sure the money was then available. Meanwhile Walmart Money Network is using my grandson's money---and perhaps that of thousands of other ex-employees--- interest-free while they have access to it for their investments or savings accounts.

By the way, they have charged a $3.00 user fee for February and Mach, even though the card has been worthless to my grandson for over five weeks.

Something tells me Sam Walton is spinning in his grave.
