My business was contacted by Wanderlust Weekly with web address wanderlustweekly.org. There is strong probability Wanderlust Weekly is connected to a known internet con artist named Miles Shumilak or Miles Mayer. This con is in contact with business owners, musicians and yoga studios with the intention of offering marketing services. He offers a free listing on his website, once we agreed, he sent over a generic three question interview, the interview was returned to him, then came a request for money. This bait and switch routine did not sit well with me prompting me into further investigation. -Wanderlust Weekly represented as a media marketing company but no information about this company can be found on the internet. -No information about the website owner can be found on their website. There is no way to contact the company besides a generic gmail account. - No social media presence which is peculiar for an online marketing company. -Misrepresentation of business leading consumers to believe Wanderlust Weekly is affiliated with Wanderlust.com and Airbnb, I have contacted both companies and they have denied any relation to this business. There is nothing remarkable about Wanderlust Weekly's website. As far as one can ascertain it is a two page website accompanied by additional blank pages correlating to major cities. Wanderlust Weekly has no web presence, consequently providing minimal reach or audience. I can think of plenty of better ways to market my business, wasting my money on a con is not one of them.
