Washington Gas Have a Credit Balance with Washington Gas? Good luck collecting.

Received a statement from Washington Gas that I had a credit balance once I closed my account.  Two months later, I still had not received refund even though the services had been terminated.  Called Washington Gas today to inquire about refund and they said I had to call and request the refund.  I asked then why do you put on the final bill that a check for my credit balance will be mailed to me?  It doesn't say anywhere on the final bill that I have to call.  So now it will be another 45 "business" days before I receive my refund.  Do you know how long 45 business days is?  Might receive it by Christmas.  I doubt they would wait 45 business days for me to mail them a payment.  If you have no choice and have to use Washington Gas, good luck.
