I would strongly advise everyone against getting a WaMU credit or savings account. After wrongly charging me $16.00 in service fees and being explicitly informed by a customer service agent that these erroneous charges would be refunded, my account was never recredited. When I called to inquire, a customer service supervisor refused to refund these fees, offering no explanation for this reversed decision. I tried to close the account twice, but they refused to grant these requests, and only after every cent was drained from the account were they willing to close it. Pure thievery!
