Odd characteristics:
*Immediately demanded bank account info to "hire me."
*Hired me sight un-seen with no interview and no relative experience. $2900.00 after taxes with full benefits and "no experience necessary."
*They approached me via email. I did NOT apply for the position.
*Promised salary ONLY if I would disclose my bank account and personal banking info to "facilitate the paying of checks to other team members." This was done through a PDF file emailed to me.
*After 6 months I was offered 3 weeks employment and NO TAXES WOULD BE TAKEN OUT. Thats for the IRS to deal with.
*No secretaries, no "real people" at (845) 363-6603 - only an answering machine to leave a message on.
This is a typical check-cashing scheme designed to either clear your bank account out or use it to accept other fake checks and then to disburse them to other "employees."
