Web Star International ripped us off Nixa Missouri

In 2006 a man called to ask if we wanted to sell our Spinnaker timeshare in Branson, Missouri. Being rather skeptical we told him we were interested but that we had heard there are numerous schemes out there that just take your money. Told him in the past we had paid a company 299.00 to sell it and never heard from anyone. He had a manager get on the phone and assured us we could contact the better business bureau and he gave us the number. I found that there were no complaints filed on this company so when he called back a few days later we agreed he could advertise it for sale. Stupidly we gave him our debit card number and agreed to pay 499.00 for them to sell it. We noticed on our next bank statement that there was a 499.00 debit for WebStar and two days later there was another debit for 500.00. We filed a fraud report with our bank and cancelled the card so they could not withdraw any more. The bank launched and investigation and stated that we owed them the money so they left it out of our account. I wrote a letter to the Attorney General of Las Vegas (I got it off the internet) and within 4 months the 500.00 was returned to our account. Because of this we closed the bank account. Last week we got a call from the original caller stating they have a buyer for our timeshare and would we take a certain amount. We agreed on it and he stated that we would receive a check for the sale amount and the 499.00 for advertising it would be refunded. We of course would need to send a check for 295.00 for filing fees. I told him to subtract it from the net sale and he stated they couldn't do that. Told him of our experience and he stated he was off for a long time due to the death of both his parents. He stated he fired the other guy and there must have been confusion about how much I'd paid. I am not sending the money and chalking the whole thing up to a rip off!!!
