On April 24th workers at directel in Saskatoon came to work,only to find a note on the door that directel was closed and for further information they could contact a toll free number and a website address was also given. (Directel was owned by Websmart Interactive in Minot, North Dakota)

For Saskatoon employees Friday was pay day (not sure if it was pay day for the American centers) The workers did not receive their paycheques. Many people were left in the cold...many have rent to pay, some have children, car payments and the list goes on.

Owner John Skowronek you don't have a brain do you? Did it ever occur to you to put money aside in case of an emergency such as this. Instead you close the doors and leave many in situations nobody deserves to be in. My heart goes out to those who are hurting both financially and emotionally. But John you don't care because if you did you would have left us with the money to pay for our record of employments.

In a recent conversation I had with Buzz Stitzer he is and I quote "very confident we (meaning the former employees both in
Canada and the U.S.)will get paid" also he told me there is an "8 out of 10 chance" we will get paid. I'm not holding my breath.

As for Global and Vertex, we knew it was a scam and the only way to sell it was as a scam because if you didn't you walked out with 1 or 2 sales. We ripped off people everyday and now were getting ripped off by John and Buzz.

To all staff, your hard work and dedication didn't go unnoticed, it was very much appreciated. To John and Buzz, I hope your never granted another business license ever again.

Where do I start? I was employed by directel, promark, z-tel, and websmart. All different companies, supposedly, are not connected but somehow they all used the same predictive dialing system, the same computers, same headsets, and had the same head honchos. Sounds kinda fishy. We all know what happened with websmart not paying their employees, any loans they owed, their rent in their buildings, and even their phone bills. All this happened because they were not paid by global financial as we know, supposedly. Its too bad that people couldn't pay their bills when they had no pay for their last 4 weeks of work. But John and Buzz are not accountable to pay their bills. If their employees didn't pay their bills they'd be thrown in jail. But John and Buzz are out running more scams and making people feel sorry for them as they live in their multimillion dollar houses. Why didn't Websmart's computer systems get confiscated? Because they were in Mark Miller's name. Not Websmart's - John and Buzz sure had a back up plan for themselves. Now there's Phase 2. What are they going to do to their poor employees this time? I know how painful phase 1 was. Are they going to not pay their employees for 2 months of work this time? And then I have some phase 2 guy come ask me if i want to work there......Sorry I have a real job where I don't treat people like a herd of cows. John, Buzz, Patrick - you'll get whats coming to you. You may be rich and buddies with the governor but God will judge you.

So I hear that websmart opened up a new center, oops i mean phase 2. For those of you that don't know, a company based out of Scottsdale, AZ - Promark One was the origination of this whole mess, otherwise known as Directel. I believe that a company by the name of Phase 2 is now occupying the old Websmart call center. Phase 2 also happens to be based out of Scottsdale. How can a company get away with not paying their bills and just changing their name to get away with it? Worst of all - Marion is back in charge. What could be wrong with these people? Once you are screwed by a someone don't you stay away. Obviously, these low life telemarketers don't have anything better to do and must not mind being waked all over.

Fisrt off, people working in the websmart call centers did not know that they were ripping people off. So for you whiny consumers, know the situation so you don't make yourself look like a fool. I as a former shift manager for this company, believed completely that we were selling an honest product, so call me stupid. I had alot of trust and respect for the people i worked for - I thought they were good people. To everyone that worked for me - I'm sorry. If I would've known what was going to happen, I would've told you so you could've left and not be out thousands of dollars from not getting paid. I would've done the same thing myself. Those of you in grand forks, i think know who i am. I wish the best to all of you. I really enjoyed the opportunity to get to know all of you.

I was almost a victum of global back in janurary
until i found out how to beat you lying cheating no good for nothing so called people at your own game! You want to whine and cry about getting rippedoff for what you say is work,and that you people had no idea what was happenning but still was handling complainting phone calls from people all over the us!I say that is a bunch of bull , and if your boss didnt just ripp you off you would still be on the phone ripping honest peoplke off and laughing about well i think
i well fill sorry for you hell freezes over
and thats from someone who got his money back

and i hope you and the rest of your so called employed friends have to live out of dumpsters
the rest of your lives so have a good day and may god not be with you!!!

I worked for Websmart Interactive for almost two years. Many people who worked for this company didnt realize that it was a scam until too late. We were always told that global was registered with the better business bureau and that it was indeed a legitimate company. For the most part many people believed that the company was not a scam and that how you sold the card was what mattered. I always made sure that I did not lie or misrep and I made sure that each customer I talked to knew about the fee and that it was a pay as you go card, and I always explained what that meant. The fact of the matter is that we are not all as bad as john and Dino and Buzz. We did what we were told to do, and did not get paid for it. Most people lost in the thousands of dollars, some one even lost over 6000$. That kinda makes the two hundred dollars you lost look like pennies, doesnt it. Dont get me wrong, I feel bad for you and the position you are in, but I also think that you should shut up and understand that we are in the same position as you. We are feeling violated, abused and bloody stupid for believing their lies. Many of us didnt know what was going on and that people werent getting their cards. You can guarantee that Buzz and all them knew d**n well what they were doing and you can bet that they have enough money to last them the rest of their pathetic lives in bank accounts in other countries to prepare for this disaster. I am extremely sorry for all the people that I unintentionally screwed and I also feel bad for all the workers who worked their butts off only to be royally screwed by the idiots who ran the dam company.

We as ex-employees of Websmart are first on the list to get paid. The property that belongs to Websmart will be sold. All monies will stay in Canada. I do feel awful that we ripped off people, I was told it was on the up and up. I just pray that the people that we called and got this so called program get their money back. But John,Buzz and whoever his name is just remember this what goes around comes around.
Also a supervisor tols us that they had checked out everything and as far as they could tell it was legitamate.

One last thing at least if I'm getting screwed I would like to enjoy it.

Global Financial ripped off thousands of customers and it was not their faults by any means. When WebSmart first received Global Financial as a client it was made very clear to the employees by GLOBAL FINANCIAL and Amy Bacon Thomas who was at the time the center manager in Minot that they don't care how you get the cards sold just sell them, "make people take them is what we were told."

Global Financial had a commitment to WebSmart to pay them over $400,000 and now what, all of sudden we can't seem to come in contact with any there and we are all screwed out of our paychecks because of Global Financial. I hope that John Skrownek, Bob Lamont, Maurice "BUZZ" Stitzer can put their 3 brains together and come up with a solution to this problem that they have caused hundreds of employees. As well as filing some sort of suit against Global Financial to ensure these employees can get some form of pay to them. Everyone in the company has worked 4 weeks and for nothing. We were to receive a paycheck On April 25th and again on May 9th, now if Global doesn't transfer that money to WebSmart many people will be evicted from their homes, cars will be repossessed and lives will be ruined over what? A rip off company like Global Financial?

Beings we had 2 TOP attorneys running our company you would think that they would've had a back up plan in case something like this would happen, but as it stands they are attorneys not good business men.

So for anyone who got ripped off by Global Financial, i would say in the end we have all learned one valueable lesson.
