I purchased a coupon book for $30 from a young man trying to earn points towards a scholarship. I was told I would receive an email the next day giving me a password to get in the program. I quickly went online and found the company and it looked legit however, I have never received an email from them. I have called the young man 4 times. The first time he told me that he would contact the company and find out what was going on and call me back with an answer.

The next time I called him, his phone was turned off and the other two times, he hangs up. I have emailed WeeklyPlus.com and/or Paperboy College Rewards Program twice with no response eventhough they say they will respond within 24 to 48 hours. It has now been over a week and no one has contacted me dispite my efforts. I am afraid that there are more consequeces coming. The last time I emailed the WeeklyPlus.com/Paperboy College Rewards Program I let them know that if I did not receive an immediate response that I will be reporting this. Still no answer from them.

Hello,

First, I would like to thank the online community for bringing this issue to our attention.  In explanation, the services represented in this complaint are not actually a part of those offered at WeeklyPlus.com.  It was our function to gather together restaurants, retailers, and service providers who were interested in offering discounts to their customers in coupon format.  We gathered these businesses and assembled the coupon books in question.  From there, we distributed the books to independent and unaffiliated non-profits to use with their fundraising efforts.  It was one of these unaffiliated organizations who sold our books, collected the profits, and failed to provide the necessary customer service.  Because of the potential for abuses such as those reported here, we have since changed our model and discontinued the coupon book system.  We sincerely apologize for the third party abuses of our product.  I have the marketing materials we used to promote and explain our fundraising services available by PDF if any consumers are interested in browsing through these materials.  Please feel free to contact me directly at service@weeklyplus.com if you have any further questions or desire further clarification.  Thank you all again for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,
Greg Max

WOW!

You are one that needs to seek medical attention. I also purchased the same coupon book and visited the website and right away in pure TEXT it reads.

NOTE: If you recently purchased a coupon book and would like to activate your account, please click here.

DAH, I clicked it and guess what happen it then asked for my email address and phone number. DAH I entered it and then it was a miracle. I was walked through a step by step process which activated my account. What a miracle! I checked my spam and noticed the weeklyplus email and thats because I have a high alert for emails that are not familiar which is understandable. Anyway I have been using the coupon book week by week and saved over $150. Plus the website alerts me whenever new stuff comes in my area. What I find cool is that I actually did my homework on the "PAPERBOY COLLEGE REWARDS PROGRAM" not like other DUMP DUMP'S. I checked this website the state of colorado
http://www.colorado.gov/cs/Satellite/CO-Portal/CXP/1165693060203
and sure enough the company is a non-profit that provides jobs for teens.

Lesson for all do your homework before taking the REVIEW..
