I want to start by saying that the manner in which employees and customers are treated when a center or market closes is a reflection of that area's supervisor, not of LA Weight Loss as a company.

The supervisor in the Phoenix and Salt Lake markets has directed the employees to inform clients that refunds will be processed during the centers' final week of business. This will not happen! She has advised the staff to respond this way to avoid having to deal with client complaints and to avoid chargebacks on her commission.

Also, if you are owed product and are told that it is being ordered: Beware! If the center closes and you have not received everything that you are owed, you will never get it by communicating with the company 800 number.

Know that the center managers are the only employees left in the store and while they are the "front-line," they are powerless to help you. The Supervisor in the Phoenix and Utah markets is Patty Wynne; the District Manager is Mary Robertson; their objective is $0 paid out even though thousands of people are owed refunds, future rebates, and product.
