The refresher course that is offer and advertisted as free is not at all free. It cost 2500 which is never disclosed with a recruiter. It is also not 2 days either more like 9 months and heres the kicker if you quit or terminated there inhouse lawyers can take you to court for  the 2500.00 or garnish your wages. From what i experience this company could care less for the drivers. For every one that quits or is terminated there is 9-10 people to replace you. From the day u get to orientation you made aware of this there is a school bus and 2 vans that are jammed packed with newbies and they will tell you quick to leave. For as the refresher course you do 10,000 with a trainer and a additional 10,000 with a another fresher all at a rate of 11 cents per mile. Then you get your own truck assignment to go solo at  30 cpm and 4 cents of that is held in escrow to pay for the refresher course and after 9 months u are given a chwck for 3,200 most dont stay there to even get it due to poor treatment. so van drivers make 26 cpm and 27 cpm for flat bed driver . Flat bad drivers only get $7-8.00 to tarp a load with 3 additional days for load securement. these web site also states you can make upto 79 cpm but only a select few will see it . The drivers i ran into made anywhere from 32 to 35cpm and all hated working at the company and complaint about the way they have been treated in the past and unhappy with the home time basically you go home when western express allows and will aggrevateand to death while home to cut your time  and was only there becaused of jacked up csa score and no one would hire them. Be warned stay far away from this company you will get treat like crap i promise you this.
