Western Mercantile Agency, LLC Falsified payment dates to extend collection time limits, served a small claim summons without prior notification letters Coos Bay Oregon

The first I heard of this company was the police serving me with a summons to appear in small claims court. They found me this spring when I applied to a realty for a rental application. I had to flee Coos bay when the man I have a lifetime stalking order on, found me. He had gone to jail for a year for breaking the order once, but tracked me down. He tried to stab me to death. I did owe some medical bills. They were turned over to WMA,LLC for collections in 2008. I was unemployed for 3 years and couldn't make payments to the Hospital. When I contacted The Manager, I asked to have automatic withdrawls from my checking account, until my Dad's will was finished with probate and then would pay the full amount. Then I took a closer look and was appaled at the high interest, fee's and even assigned client interest! Assigned client interest was less than 6.00 and illegal to collect as well. She lied about making every effort to contact me sying letters were sent,(But she Can't prove it). Duhhhh.Tells you what kind of company they are. She was nasty and un-co-operative on the phone. They are running a scam on debtors by not sending out letters and then hitting you with a Small Claims Court Summons. We need to stand together and fight this. vicious, shady,and yes....criminal company! Please let me know about any class action suits out there. Thank You. Ticked-off
