First I would like to say that I am a member of BBRT (barebackrt.com) and have been for over a year, and the last 8 or 9 months I have been a contributor (paid member). I also have a friend that is a contributor on bbrt, and has never had a problem with customer service nor tech support.

Escorts are not prostitutes, Escorts do not charge for sex they charge for their escorting (companionship) services, and yes their profiles tell their likes and dislikes sexually, however they are not selling sex, they are simply expressing their likes and dislikes sexually just like all the other guys on there. So there may be some escorts on there that are also including the sex in the price of their escort services, but there is no way to prove it, and they do not put that on their profile!

And not to mention, none of that is relevant anyway, because it is all clearly stated in their terms of service that you agreed upon when you signed up as a member. If you don't like their terms of service, no one said you had to join their service, simply move on to a site that you can agree with their terms of service, it's that simple, no reason to stress about it. And obviously your states attorney general agrees that there is nothing illegal going on because your AG didn't do anything, and if did they feel such illegal activities was going on they would have contacted the FBI and the FBI would have shut the site down, and obviously the FBI hasn't shut it down, I know I'm still a paid member and was just their about 1/2 hour ago!!

Besides why would you want to be a member of a site you dislike so much? And also how would you have any clue as to whether or not someone else has been able to retain their account, when you cannot even log-in? Idiot! As far as Ex employees, well, ex-employees have always bashed companies when they leave unless they only left for a better opportunity, But the funny part is, when they worked for that very same company, they always say and think it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. And the pic that was posted proving the site was established in 2007, well, I can take any pic and edit it so it looks the way I want it, including replacing text, so that pic means nothing, now if you had an actual video of the screen showing the live website on the video, that might be a little more believable, besides what difference does it make when he said the company started, maybe the guy misspoke, haven't you ever misspoke?

Interestingly enough, within the rebuttals provided, one states how it is illegal for "pigmaster" to place what he calls "personal" information about the complainant, John, on this site, towit, his email, and that he, as "pigmaster" alleges, used bbrt to "solicit meth."  Then he goes on to provide the same information about the webmaster ("pigmaster").  If it is illegal for the webmaster to place that information in his rebuttal, then too it would be for anyone else to place it; however, it is not, at least not criminally.  Further, to survive a civil claim of defammation, there would need to be specific identifying information, including full name, picture, or some other direct linking means to the direct individual ("John" and "Johnnie" are not prima facie evidence for this.  I personally know 12 men named John.)  Next, direct harm would have to be shown.  Since the first cannot be met, direct harm cannot be proven.  Third and finally, consequences related directly to the reporting of the accusation would have to be shown (i.e., "I was fired from my job because my employer thought I was a drug user after having read this.").  Again, since the first AND second cannot survive, the third would never be reached.  So, legal action, not likely.  A first year law student could get it dismissed for lack of a cause of action.

Now, directly with the website itself.  I am a current and existing member of the site.  I have seen the racsim go both ways.  I personally politely tell anyone I am not interested in that I am not.  If they do not get the clue from there, I block them.  While some individuals choose to use wielding tones in their profiles, most do not.  I have seen minorities wield libelous statements just as much as I have Caucasians.  Regarding the harassment, well, there is the block option.  Even at best if it were limited to paying members, since all of the people complaining here have complained that they could nto get a refund, it stands then to reason that they paid for the site and thus could use that option.

     What I find sad and pathetic, besides the prior "commentator" who is the actual owner of the website pretending to be somebody who just "happened to be surfing the web and who states he came across this site", is the owner's inability to accept that the evidence, against his "company" and proving his illegal activities as of late, is insurmountable and he knows it.  He is unable to come up with any independent proof of his own to make any type of claim that I or any of the other commentators (or ex-employees) are lying.  Yet, I have come up with at least four indisputable hard copies of evidence that Pigsnoutface has indeed lied on several occasions on this very website.  "Johnnie" (above) coincidentally has all of the similar spelling and grammatical errors  that Pigmaster on the website has.  What he claims as "similar writing styles" among numerous different inidividuals is simply CORRECT GRAMMAR.  He might want to look into that someday.
     In my independent report files on his corrupt website and company, I have more than proven that Pigsnoutface does indeed repetitively lie, and appears to desperately try to come up with a different sorry lame excuse in a lame attempt to divert attention away from his guilty self.  If one looks on the website, one would see that an ex-member would be fined $1500 for attempting to illegally re-enter the site, or to lie about his own identity.  So my question is, if all Pigsnoutface states is true, then why have I not yet been contacted to pay the $1500 fine?  I challenge this corrupt, guilty individual to try to collect.  Let me answer that question.  Pigsnoutface knows very well that 1) all he says are lies, and thus he has no grounds to even try to fine me and 2) he knows that if he even tried, then all of the facts about his illegal activites and corrupt behavior which I've previously stated would come pouring out to the public, and he knows that I can prove each and every one of them.  I have documented proof that he lied to me when I was a member in order to steal my membership money (and I know of other members to whom he's done this as well).  I can prove he lied about when his company was started to pretend that his ex-employee was fake, when indeed this ex-employee does exist.  I can easily get in contact with other ex-members of the site which would corroborate all of the other allegations against him, including the fact that he divulges fake information about his company over the telephone when directly asked. These ex-members can also prove that he's violated internet legal policies by creating and lying about his ex-members in order to attempt to gain personal revenge.  I and other can easily prove that he's used his website to blatantly lie in order to steal money from his members, and then arbitrarily blocks them out of the website.  The list goes on and on. 
     So pigsnoutface, the owner who engages in illegal activities and belongs in jail, should feel free to simply TRY to come at me with a ffine, which should have already occurred if what he states is true.  The reason that he's scared to even think of coming my direction with any hint of a fine is because he knows that everything he's said on here is a flat-out lie, and he knows that all I and other members have said is true.  He knows that if he tries to fine me or any other ex-member, we'll simply have our legal counsel go forward with all of our documented evidence against him, and he would only be digging his own grave.
     I'm surprised with all of this owner's neglecting of his own business (if you can call it that), he still has yet to find the other reporting bureaus that I and other ex-members have reported his website on, and he only likes to lie on this one.  Although he's not bright at all, so that would explain his cluelessness in discovering that much is being reported about his site on other online modalities.  This owner remains just as whiny and pathetically lazy as ever.  Does he know that a tragedy in Haiti has taken place, and I sincerely wonder if he's even bothered to donate any money towards Haiti's recovery, rather than use it towards his drug use.  I have a wonderful idea:  He should take all of the money he's stolen from his ex-members through his site, and donate it ALL to the American REd Cross or UNICEF.  He'll have to look all of this up I believe. 
     One more time, if what he said was true, I directly challenge his guilty a*s to even think twice about trying to hit me up with any type of fine.  That's a direct challenge, pigsnoutface.  You'll end up in jail, and with fines of your own instead, so.....I'm not worried one bit.  Bring it.

I just happened to be browsing through complaints here on Ripoff Report, which I do from time to time when I can't sleep or have nothing else to do. After reading this report and all of it's rebuttals, It became painfully obvious that "John" (the person that wrote the original complaint) is also "Kevin", "Dean", "Chris", "Anonymous - Ottawa (Canada)" and, "Matt M.". This is easily detected as they all share the same writing style, use the same vocabulary and they all have the same lack of common sense.

It seems to me that the majority if not all of the accusations that are being directed to Wet-Media or their website are completely unsubstantiated and lack any merit whatsoever. I highly doubt the validity of any of these claims, in fact many of them are nothing more than a childish bout of name calling. In all likelihood the only reason this complaint was ever filed was to attack, discredit and ruin the reputation the website, the parent company and it's owner.

It is really to bad that claims can be made on this website without having to provide any valid proof that an injustice has been committed. I mean really, if any of the claims of prostitution, drug dealing or plotting to spread the HIV virus were true the FBI, ATF and local authorities would have put a stop to this a some time ago. It is people like you that ruin sites like Ripoff Report and other similar sites. These sites are here to provide a safe and convenient way post legitimate complaints and issues in hopes of getting some help in resolving your issues with a company that you have conducted business with. They were never intended to be a safe-haven for people like you to bash, humiliate or otherwise defame a company, business or owner/employee of that business or orgination that you have that you have a grudge with. This is exactly why people do not take the claims made here seriouslly, because you can never tell if it is a justified complaint or if it is just some moron with a p***k up his a*s (like you).

I had to laugh when I read that pigmaster stated that he didn't start his business until 2008, and as a result, I was some sort of imposter. No, I really do exist. And his website was definitely developed YEARS before 2008. So either he's lying, as usual, which he did almost pathologically even in the workplace. Or the drugs finally affected what memory he had left and now he's completely gone off the deep end. I can attest to the drugs definitely affecting his personality, because as the website became more well-known, he started 'using' more heavily and became more and more of an a--hole, both to the website users and to his staff. And he would lie about the stupidest things, not only to us on staff but even to the business supervisors and officers. I won't go into detail again about the illegal activities he engaged in using the business as a cover, except to say that the rate of these also increased as the website became better-known. I applaud you all for holding this crook accountable. I feel badly for the people still having to work with him, and maybe worst of all for his current customers.

I am attaching a picture file which refutes the owner's claim that this ex-employee who came forward with testimony is a fake.  The owner of this website claimed that the ex-employee is not a legitimate or credible individual, because this ex employee claimed that he/she worked for wet media from 2007-2008, and quit her job with this company because of all of the unscrupulous and illegal activities which were taking place under the guise of Wet media inc.  The owner's argument to challenge the ex employee's testimony was that his company and website were not yet even in existence in 2007, and thus this ex employee was lying.  Attached is a capture file of the owner's website which illustrates and proves not only the full functionality of the website in 2007, but also proves that the owner is again lying in another desperate attempt to hide the facts and the truth. 

The website's ex-employee stated that he/she worked for the company Wet Media from 2007-2008.  The owner attempted to invalidate this ex-employee, stating that the website and Wet Media did not even exist yet in 2007.  Attached is a picture file taken directly from the website which proves that not only was the website in full functionality during 2007, but also proves that the owner is once again lying, and distorting everything claimed against his website and company.  This, in my opinion, illustrates how anything and everything the owner attempts to state as fact can't be trusted or believed.  

The "owner" of the "company" (and I use those words extremely loosely; I would prefer to use the words "felon" and "website which fronts for illegal activities") is apparently allowing his well-established drug abuse to cloud his memory.  If one simply logs onto the website, one sees how long certain members have foolishly been giving money to this criminal.  And if the owner would stop lying and cheating his consumers long enough to look at his own website, he would see that certain members indeed have been members since 2007.  And I would bet that the preparation of this so-called website business started much prior to this time, and necessitated the help of numerous individuals to get the site up and running (yes, these individuals would be EMPLOYEES).  I highly doubt that pigmaster had nearly enough intelligence to develop the site on his own.  I believe it was during this time that Pigmaster was well-involved with his white-supremacist hate groups, as I've seen the photos of him with the n**i uniform at various rallies during the 2006-2007 time period. 

Allow me to state the irony which is hovering over the "owner's" incorrect retort to the employee's remarks.  The owner specifically told me to send in money for membership dues (as stated before), and upon receiving my money, he not only lied and stated that he never received it (he only admitteds it after I caught him in his lie with the help of certified mail), he promptly terminated my account with ABSOLUTELY no reason or rationale whatsoever.  Now here comes the irony.  I spent a good part of that day emailing and calling wet-media, inc. headquarters trying to either clear up the "confusion" or to get my money back.  Guess what?  That was four days ago, and I never received any reply via email or telephone.  In fact, after calling several times that day and never having anyone pick up the phone, the office workers and the owner simply hung up on me after one ring.  I still have yet to receive my refund, or any explanation as to why my money was stolen from me, and why my account was terminated.  Even more sinister, the owner purposely waited until he received my payment, and almost within the hour he received it, he terminated my account.  And now I have no access to or record of any communications on the site.  I can't even access the site now.  Yet, pugmaster is able to whip out a response (albeit incorrect) within hours of any posting on this site.  Perhaps if pugmeister would focus his attention on his own website, instead of pathetically waiting for any posting on this site, his website wouldn't be so screwed up, although that still wouldn't change the fact that pughead is a cheat, a fraud, and a criminal.  So pughead, fix your own d**n business first.  You've lost all credibility and you're just making an a*s of yourself on here.  You cheated me out of my money, and this is the only way I can communicate with you, cause you won't reply to any of my inquiries.  Yet you obviously love this site, ripoffreport.  Get your priorities in order, then turn yourself into the police.

Funny how we can have an ex employe that worked for our company before it even existed. And en ex employe that worked for us in 2008 before we even hired any employees.

I am an ex-employee of Wet Media, and I knew it was only a matter of time before the company would have to start going on the defensive for its transactions.  I was employed by this company from 2007-2008.  I eventually quit because I knew it would only be a matter of time before the feds or some law enforcement agency raided the company's headquarters because of their shady dealings.  This corporation Wet Media, Inc. literally lies and steals from its members, and arbitrarily terminates members' accounts sometimes just because they file a single complaint with the management.  I still communicate with certain employees of wet media, and apparently this activity has escalated to the point that this company seriously needs to be investigated by federal and international officials for corruption and theft.  This corporation also needs to be investigated for fraudulent claims and outright lying to authorities about their dishonest transactions.  I know for a fact that this Steve character does not exist, and instead is a fictitious person made up by the company, and I also know after speaking with employees still working for this company that this Doctor they accused of wrongdoing is totally not involved in this entire fiasco, and that Wet Media simply needed a scapegoat to divert attention away from their own corrupt practices.  Apparently, this member complained about something entirely unrelated, and the company tried to exact retaliation by pulling this innocent member into this separate situation and accusing him of things he had absolutely no involvement in.  So Steve aka Wet Media now is guilty of slandering certain individuals, on top of their countless other unscrupulous and illegal activities.  All I can say is that I'm glad I got out when I did,  But the administration which runs wet media inc. is literally the scum of the earth when it comes to business transactions, and the sooner this company is exposed and shut down, the better.  For my own protection, I am remaining anonymous, since members of this corporation have been known to personally exact revenge on ex-employees and ex-members alike.

I'm a current member of barebackrt.com, and I'll just leave it at that.  Like the site cause it's really easy to hook up on, but gotta be honest and back up the first dude's report.  The management treats the members like s**t, and my jaw has hit the ground on several occasions when I heard the way "Pigmaster" spoke to several of my friends on the phone (yeah, all non-caucasian dudes) when I happened to be present.  Just hearing him through the phone receiver from a distance, I could still hear how rude and condescending he was being to the friend who happened to be calling in with the unfortunate pre-existing condition that he wasn't white.  And he does literally hang up on the callers almost every single time whenever the call is regarding a complaint about the site. This is a business?  And I've gotta admit that when I've called once or twice about some glitch with my billing cycle, "Pigmaster" dude was a total kiss-a*s to me, which really makes me sad cause that means he really is a racist guy, and definitely should not be able to own or run a public website and discriminate against certain people behind the scenes, and hide by just hanging up on the ones who refuse to take this type of treatment.  

I was browsing this website ripoffreports and came across this complaint about barebackrt.com, and I felt compelled to put my two cents in.  I am an African-American gay male who joined barebackrt.com in 2008.  Initially, it seemed like any other hook-up website, except for a few strange questions in the member profile questionnaires and some odd areas of the website itself.  Reading over "John's" complaint about Wet-Media, Inc, I've gotta say that for the most part, I agree with what he said.

I am a Caucasian ex-member of the website Barebackrt.com, and I completely agree with  "John", the individual who originally complained about this site.  I am an EX-MEMBER, because I also found it obvious that the owners of this site seemed to violate their own contractual agreement which claims to have absolutely no tolerance for any racist statements or sentiment, and yet even I as a White Gay Man was disgusted by the overt discrimination displayed by the owners of this site and of its parent company Wet Media.  I find it extremely interesting that the two "rebuttals" prior to mine have absolutely no evidence or examples to back up their statements, and seem to think that simply stating that so-and-so is a tweaker thus negates all of the clearly stated evidence which the original filer of this complaint has organized and set forth in his statements.  The "dark-skinned" Black man as he claims himself to be who is an employee of Wet Media would obviously defend the company he works for.  In a recession, who would want his employer to suddenly go out of business?  This person should not even be allowed to file a rebuttal since his impartiality is obviously non-existent, with him being employed by the subject of the complaint. And the irony in all of this is that I can back up that this site does indeed attempt to promote illegal drug use and the spread of the HIV virus, and in fact glorifies it.  I also agree with the original report that the owners do in fact use any excuse possible to terminate members who happen to not be Caucasian, and bend over backwards to favor and cater to its Caucasian members.  This website violates its own contract with its members on a daily basis by blatantly allowing members to be completely abusive to the men of color on this site, and I also have heard accounts from numerous non-Caucasian members of this website about unfair termination, repeated refusals by the staff to speak to the members in their attempts to clarify as to why their memberships are being terminated without any reason, and also how this website will refuse to refund any membership dues even after this site had arbitrarily decided to end certain memberships (funny how these events always tended to victimize non-Caucasian members).  I think that this is how this website tries to maximize its profits.  Finally, I just got so disgusted by the blatant promotion of illegal activities on this site, the mistreatment of its ethnic-minority members, and the unprofessional behavior of the Wet Media staff, I quit this website because staff that treats its members so offensively based on their ethnicity, and engages in illegal actions and self-righteously pretends that its members do (but are only too happy to continue to take money from them), is a business that DESERVES to be boycotted and hopefully shut down. 
I'm glad that somebody finally spoke up about Wet Media.  And to the idiot who called the filer of this report a tweaker and drug-user, uh, reading the original filer's complaint which is organized, eloquent, clear, and appropriately detailed, and then reading yours which sounds like you've got the pipe literally hanging out of your mouth, just reminds me of the hypocrisy of you lying for your company which (ahem) is your breadline in this ever-increasingly poor economy.  Before you continue lying for your bosses, check your conscience. And if you indeed are who you claim you are, as a member of the parent company whose website I just checked, which member of the Board of Directors are you?  Or are you some token intern which the Board put you up to in order to attempt to gain some artificial street cred in this feeble lame attempt to deny what is blatantly true.  So if you've got both Men of Color and Caucasian Men getting progressively disgusted with your website and its overt racism, perhaps it's time for you and your bosses to find another line of work.  I hear that white supremacy groups are back in vogue amongst the stupid and illiterate.  Why don't you all start with that?  And if you want more evidence how offensive your website really is, I can easily enlist the help of 20 or 30 other individuals (other equally disgusted ex-members) and have them also file complaints with your website as well.  Difference would be that WE'RE not lying. 

I am a black man a very Dark Skinned BLACK MAN and I have been working for wet-media for almost a year now. I have seen this guy on Adam 4 Adam and he is a tweeker. Every word that he had typed has been an complete lie. Wet-Media is one of the most gracious companies to work for, I have never EVER experiences any of the nonsense that this man it talking about. I think he need to put the pipe down, for him to say that Adam 4 Adam is being investigated, where is he getting this crazy nonsense from? It sad that in this day and age that someone could and would make up such bull. THE MAN NEEDS HELP !!!!!

This member was terminated and banned from our site for sending out hate mail and soliciting for crystal meth. He also called into our support line posing as the ACLU, CNN, and a lawyer.
