I am a retired, disabled, unemployed military Veteran. I arranged for my household goods to be shipped from Bremerton, WA to my residence in Aurora, CO. For approximately $2000. The moving company did not contact me until the following day (June 8, 2016) to tell me that they tried to deliver my goods to my address, but nobody was home. So they placed my goods in a storage facility in Denver, CO. without my knowledge, when in fact, I was home, and nobody attempted to contact me in any form of communication on the claimed date of delivery (June 7, 2016). No one attempted to deliver anything to my home and per phone conversation, they claimed not to be able to find an available delivery truck for another 10 days and won't be able to deliver my goods until June 17, which will cost an additional $800 to have the goods released. We refused to pay $800 for 10 days of storage back in June. As of today, (November 28, 2016), they are changing an additional $530 for delivery when they had already initially added a $530 delivery charge plus one month's storage ($170) back in June, while still charging a occurring $170 per month to have the items released and delivered to me while threatening to auction my goods and attempts to proceed with further collections against me.  Attempts were made to be reasonable and for me to pay the original payment at the $2000 price, but I refuse to pay all the extra nonsense totaling nearly $4000 for made-up, fraudulent reasons and unauthorized storage of my goods.
