Wheels Boutique ripoff bad ADR wheels and will not fix the problem Miami Florida

I spend three months searching for a set of wheels for my 1999 CLK Mercedes, size wheels 18 inch staggered. This means different size wheels on front and back. The wheels needed to be HUB Centric. German cars require HUB Centric wheels otherwise you have nothing but problems. After a long search I selected a wheel offered by Wheels Boutique. They informed me they have the wheels in stock as most other places stated at least a month for the staggered wheel. They promised these were HUB Centric and would require NO adapters. I paid for the wheels, $1699.00. Shortly after paying for the wheels they called back informing me they did not have the rear wheels in stock. I was offered a wheel I did not want, wait a month like all others offered or take none staggered wheels. I ended up taking same size all around and not real pleased. They informed they had the wheel and advertise they have wheels and do not. My wheels finally arrived after waiting over a week. I was given a $200 credit because none staggered wheels are less in cost.

When I place the wheels on the car I found they had play and were not HUB Centric. When I put the wheels on the car the front wheels set close to the edge of the wheel well and the rear wheels set in over an inch. This was because the offset was not correct for my car and they failed to inform and failed to have the staggered wheels as advertised and told they had in stock. The lug nut sent would not work on the rear; they went so deep they hit the emergency break system causing a grinding noise and a drag. I had to grind the lugs down to fit. I called and they told me over a month ago they would sent the right size lugs and to date have never sent. I then need to purchase spacers for the rear wheels costing $100.00. This product was true HUB Centric and you could see the gap in the HUB with the adapter.


Many people informed me the rear wheel on the driver's side was darker. When having the issues I took the wheel off placed next to another wheel and sure enough it had a carbine black look, though I thought with it setting deeper in the wheel well because the danker look. When spacers put on car you could see this was a darker wheel. Contact Wheels Boutique, they wanted $300 for me to have them send the wheel or send the wheel and they would send replacement. After a great deal of frustrations with these folks I elected to send the wheel using the same packaging they came in. We now are approaching three weeks and they have not sent my replacement wheel and have one answer for me, its not here. Nothing more.

I spend all this money and I'm driving around on a spare wheel and three new wheels causing damage to these wheels by one off size wheel. They never once have called me to inform me of what is going on; I continue to have to call them for information. Being in a difference state they have the upper hand. I spoke with an Attorney here in KY and they advised I contact an Attorney in FL to make the process easier. Bottom line is this company is falsely advertising they have hundreds of wheels in stock, they do not; they stated the wheel is HUB Centric, it is not. I have a letter stating this from our local Mercedes Dealer; I have all emails between Wheels Boutique and myself stating they are HUB Centric Wheels. There website states NOTHING of return police, warranty, how to care for your wheels. I have all pages to website copied and saved to show this information is not there and never was. There is no question I'm a frustrated consumer and can not believe they stay in business but treating people as they do, selling product is not what they say and not having in stock what they say they have.


They finally sent my wheel back which was a quarter inch bigger center bore than my car with a HUB Ring. After driving 3000 miles tires are cupped and no good. I paid for Hub Centric wheels did not get, paid for Staggered wheels did not get. The entire transaction was a REP OFF. They told me they could have the rear wheels in a month. ADR said they no longer make the wheel and stopped making a year ago.
