We had a very bad experience with purchasing a car at White Plains Honda and have since heard many similar stories about these horrible cons from other past customers of theirs. White Plains Honsa considers you, the consumer, to be the next fool to be had by them.

All the salesmen and sales managers work together in their scams, thinking they are clever as they fleece the next customer with their many flim flam games. Their sales department views customers as 'one offs' and is not concerned with seeing you again for future sales.

These guys are bad actors, (literally), and I strongly advise you to steer clear of this dealership. No matter what the salesman tells you, cars are a commodity, every make, model, color and year available at many locations, all with huge inventories available - so take your time, they won't run out.

This dealership obviously does not care about repeat customers. I'm sure if you google this dealership it will be easy to find more ripoff stories about them.

Honda's are excellent cars, but the people at this dealership should not allowed able to sell them. Be sure to go to the Edmunds car site mentioned above and spend 5 minutes reading about who you are dealing with if you buy a car at White Plains Honda on Central Avenue in White Plains, NY (Westchester).

Purchased a new 2006 Honda Accord in December 2006 from White Plains Honda. The salesman, Joe (a 20+ year Honda salesman), offered to match or beat any competitors price I brought him. After bringing in my best price, he came within $300 (over) my price. I told him because he spent time selling my wife and I, I would agree to buy the car from him, even at the slightly higher price. He gave me the full amount due and agreed I would take delivery of the new Accord the next day.

The next day, after visiting my bank and getting a cashiers check for the full balance owing, I visited the dealership. After sitting down to do the paperwork with Joe, the salesman, he asks me to see their after market person. I agreed to meet with them, but declined any extras. I am then told that they would have to add $600 for pre-existing security etching on the car I was purchasing. I told them this was not ethical to do this after the fact, and they had agreed with a signed contract. The sales manager then got involved and said he had never seen my contract and his signature was not on the contract. The salesperson said he had signed it, but hadn't got the managers signature, yet told me it was a done deal (this salesperson had told me in days previous he had over 20 years experience).

Due to being under time pressure to get a car, I eventually agreed to their deal. I later asked the saleman, why he would do such a thing, his only response was to look at his shoes and mumble that things got 'mixed up...'

Bottom line is be very careful of this dealership, what you see is not what you get!
