Whitewing Financial Group ripoff Houston Texas

I started getting phone calls at home and on my cell phone from a person named Carla King who identified herself as my "personal account manager" for whitewing financial group. This idiot even called my 85 year old mother and told her that they are going to take me to court if I don't pay this bill. I had ignored the many phone calls from them until my Mom called me and told me what "carla" had said.

I got on the computer and looked up whitewing before I called. I found this web site(thank God). I also did some research at the state atty. generals web site. I found out that whitewing was not registered to do collections or anythig else in the state of NC(not bonded or met any of the requirments).

I called carla and was informed that I owe 6682.14 to them and that they had purchased my account from capital acquistions. She informed me the account was closed in 1985. I asked who was the original lendor and she did not know. I started to inform her of all the things I had learned about them and told her that I would send her a C@D letter and file a complaint with the state attorney generals office and the BBB(they are not a member there's a suprize). She informed me that she would not call after they got the letter but someone else would? Not real smart are they. I made her so mad she hung up on me!!!! A new twist.

Bottom line is I don't owe this money and never have. I got a letter today from carla stating the same things she told me on the phone. These people are idiots and I don't expect them to give up soon so I guess I will get ready for a fight. Kind of looking foward to it with all I have learned about them (thanks to this web site!!!!) It should be interesting. If anyone has any info that will help please post or e mail. Thanks
