On Monday 12/26/2011 my wife and I brought our 94 Saturn SL2 to Cody Whitwolf of Whitwolf Mobile Auto Repair to have the Clutch replaced because he soubded affordable and nice at the time. When we got there Mr Whitwolf required us to give him $200.00 cash for parts (he quoted us $489.00 total to do the whole job) which we did and sign paperwork authorizing me to repair our car. But before we did that he pulls his car in to his garage which is in the Apartment Complex he lives in (he works out of his home and does not have a profeesional shop w/service bays and lifts)and starts jacking the car up and playing around underneath and than informs us we need a clutch sleeve and so we gave him the $200.00 plus the $43.00 for that. We were told the car would be ready sometime Wenesday 12/28/2011. Well come Wednesday I am communicating w/Mr Whitwolf and he informs they were having problems because they got the wrong clutch kit 2 times before getting the right one than they were having trouble getting the transmission back in and than the drivers side axle,etc. Come to find out the proper way to a clutch on this car is to pull the engine out part way but since Mr. Whitwolf does not have an engine hoist he pulled the tranny out the hard way.

Anyways I spoke to Mr. WHitwolf around 6:30 Wednesday night 12/28/11 and he said not much more to do and he was going to have the car finished and returned to me that night because he had another car he needed to pull in to his garage. Well around 7:30 Pm he calls me and says his mechanic is tired and will finish it the next morning. He led me to belive it would be ready by 12:00 PM Thuirsday 12/29/11

Well come Thursday around noon I call and I text Mr Whitwolf to find out how it's coming and if it is ready and he does not answer his phone or respond to my texts. Finally around 1:00 PM I text him and he answers back and says they are still working on it than I text him and again to ask when it will be ready and he texts back telling me to leave him alone he's busy. Well I lost it after that and did call his business manager which is Chris Warren (his brother) and ripped in to Chris about how I was angry w/Cody Whitwolf for his disrespect and that my car was NOT ready when I ws told it would be (I did later apologize to Chris) Anyways around 3:00 PM I get a call from saying the car is ready and so my wife and I go pick it up that night and we drove the car for 2 days than I go to get Pizza a half mile from my house and I am driving the car home and a problem develops where there is play in the shifter and I can't shift in to 3rd 4th or 5th gear. I get the car home and call Mr. Whitwolf and he says it's a pin that he trouble with that was rusty and that he could take care of it on Monday Jan 2nd 2012

Well the next day I jacked up the car and put it on jackstand to see if it was something I could fix my self and I discover that the problem is not a pin but a clip that holds the shift cable to the transmission bracket. I also discover that bushings are bad on the shift linkage so I call Mr Whitwolf and he says it's just a pin and he'll fix it on Monday.I asked him for a time he would be out to my house to fix it and he goes after he takes care of other jobs he has to do.Well after I hung up the phone w/him I was thinking this guy is a liar because of the aggravation I went thru w/him on Wednesday and Thursday before getting the car back (forgot to add that he told me he had trouble w/that so quote pin when putting things back together. He said it was rusty)so Itexted him and told him I needed the car fixed first thing on Monday am and got a nasty text back syaing if I didn't leave him alone he was going to refuse service,etc and telling me and at the end he states inbold letters do u understand!ANyways Monday comes and his brother Chris calls me around 8:00 Am and says that Cody wil be out around 3:00 to fix it. Well 3:00 PM came and he was not here. Finally around 4:00 PM I call and text Cody  to no avail so my wife calls Chris (Cody's brother) and is told Cody will be  out after he finishes a job he's doing. Well 6:30 pm comes and Chris calls me and says Cody get not locate the so quote pin at check so both my wife and I told Chris that we needed this fixed so she could get to work. Well I than talk to Cody andd he's saying he has to get the part from a salvage yard the nexzt day Tuesday. Well come Tuesday I realize he has lied to me so I had another mechanic come look at the car and he discovers Cody Whitwolf and his gang forgot to put the flywheel cover back on and that what I need is a whole new shift cable and that a mount was missing that goes from exhaust to engine.So my wife calls Cody and leaves a voice message and than calls Chris and thingsa get heated. Cody is next to Chris (his brotyher ) tellong him what to say than Cody gets on the phone and is daying we voided ourt warrantty b/cause we had some one else come loo at the car and he starts cussing out my wife. Well I talked to 2 differnt people afterwards who told me that having someone else look at it will not void a warantty.The person who looked at did juist that LOOK! Well Cody and I texted back and forth last night and he refuses to make goood so I told him he will not work on any of my vehicles again (which angered him and that I am having some one else fix my car and his screw ups.

Oh he threatened that if I took him to small claims court he would counter sue me for lost wages and defamation of character etc.

 as posted from the consumer report about whitewolf mobile repair the following information is what is true and correct to the best of my knowledge. mr. cody whitewolf is not who he claims he is his legal name is jason roger moore.

as for his so called brother (chris warren) they are not brothers and his name is not said stated name it is chris lorenz. i highly doubt that this is a family owned and operated company. jason is a fraud he receives ssi income due to being disabled for reasons unknown.

there is so much more i could put about them all which is true to the best of my knowledge but for now this will do i wanted to make this known so as others can avoid the problems that will come there way in dealing with mr moore and mr lorenz

I totally disagree w Mr Whitwolf rebuttal to my complaint..

I filed this report because Mr. Whitwolf would not simply answer his phone or my text messages when I called and would not either give me a reasonable time frame when the car would be ready or tell me that there was a problem and that he might need it an extra day or two,etc. and because  I feel he lied to me on some things.I belive Mr. Whitwof is lying when he says I was angry that he did not have any work for me. I simply said I was available if he could use me and that I had a pick-up if he needed any vehicles picked up.

Yes I spoke to his brother Chris who so quote handles his bussiness end and yes we had some conversations unrelated to the work I was having done and thats only because CHris and I had some similiar interests.

Mr Whitwolf can say what he wants and I know he will to make himself look good but the truth is Mr. Whitwolf did not go to Martins Auto Salvage in Windsor,Co when he said he did to look for a clip that my Saturn needed. I know because I was there at the time Mr. Whitwof says he was and did not see his name on the sign in sheet there and did not see him in the Saturn section looking for the part. I found it and he told me when I called him that he could not find it and that the Saturns there had differnt transmissions than mine and what was there would not work.


Again Mr. Whitwolf got all angry when my wife spoke him this past Tuesday night (01/03/2012) and told him that we had a mechanic come out and just look at the car and the problem why the shift linkage was not working and when she told him the mechanic noticed  some brackets and the fly wheel cover were missing he started cussing out my wife and saying that the 30 day warantty that he put on his work was no longer valid because we had some one else fix it. He got it wrong. We just had some one else look at it so we knew what was wrong because Mr. Whitwolf could not come out and look at it.

When I did speak to Mr. Whitwolf on the Wednesday (12/28//11) before the day that I got my car from him I just had a feeling in my gut that he was lying to me on my some things. Let Mr. Whitwolf say what he wants but I do not trust this man.

I wish to add that I eneded up going to a U- Pull It junkyard in Greeley,Co and getting the part I needed which was a shift linkage retainer clip (and the brackets and flywheel cover ) (because I would've had to buy the whole shift linkage cable at Martins) and I fixed the problem myself and also replaced the brackets and flywheel cover that were missing that Mr. Whitwolf says were not there to begin with. If they were not there when he did the job he should've told me. My wife has dealt w/a Toyota dealer and before they do any work on a vehicle they inspect and will tell the customer what is missing.

Anyways, I am not taking Mr. Whitwolf to court. It's not worth it. As far as my wife and I are concerned this matter is closed now.  I just want people to know the truth.

If Mr. Whitwolf is a nice person and a good mechanic he would've been nicer to me and my wife and he would've been understanding regarding me wanting to know when my car would be ready and he would not have lied to me. Also he would done have everything he could to earn my business and the big things are keeping your word and be nice and respectful and if you're having problems and there are delays and you need the vehicle for an extra day or two letting the customer know. (Forgot to add that Mr. Whitwof told me on Wednesday 12/28/11 at 6:30 that he would get my car done that night because he had another vehicle that he had to pull in ti his garage and than he calls me up at 7:30 that night and says his mechanic is tired and he'll finish it the next day.Again he had me believing that there was not much left to do and that he would be done w/it by noon on Thursday 12/29/11. If there were problems he should've been a lot more realistic w/me. Also when I did speak to his brother CHris on a couple of occaisions about the car Chris told me I needed to talk to Mr. Whitwoflf and so I called and texted him and he did not answer for a half hr to an hour and a half. I don't belive that professionals should be rude just because at times customers are A good professional knows h*e to handle a customer and reassure them that he/she the professional is doing a good job and will make you happy.I felt none of that from Mr. Whitwolf. I did get a lot of talk from his brother Chris about how good Mr. WHitwolf is how they are are glad I chose them. Well talk is cheap. I want to see service and not hear talk.

I did a search thru the Better Business Burea and there is nothing on Whitwolf Mobile Auto Repair. Would alsdo like to add that they are spamming the Boulder section of craigslist automotive services section w/ads for their bussiness. Don't take my word people. Check it out yourself. Will never use them ever again.!!!! Again this matter is closed and I am not looking to sue or get my money back from Mr.Whitwolf. If he has it in his heart and feels like it an apology to my wife for how he spoke to her would be nice.

Whitewolf Mobile Auto Repair aims to consistently deliver a professional service to our customers. On this occasion this customer was trying to engage our owner and head mechanic on matters unrelated to the repair and was doing what is commonly called drunk dialing to our phones. We are happy to provide readers and customers with references from our past clients and you will find that we receive consistent high marks in customer satisfaction.  The customer that wrote complete also wanted to work for us  but we do not have room on our staff as we are family owned and operated.  I belied that angered him.
