Who's Who Among Outstanding Middle School Students ripoff I ordered a copy of this book and paid $55 6 months later no book Canton Georgia

I was nominated when I was in middle school. My parents bought 2 books and paid extra to have my picture in it. The books were 50 a piece plus the cost for picture. This was in the early to mid 90’s. My father called and called no one ever called back nor did they give him his money back. For years I have been searching for this book so I can see if I’m in it. Supposedly I was in it for 6 years. 3 middle school and 3 in high school. I am just now seeing all these reports of scam. So I wanted to share my story. Also if there is a way to look up these books online or a library. I was told the book would be in the library but we never lived near one to check. I am now 36 years old and still no books.

 I was nominated into this "book" in 2007-2008. I am now a college student. My mother paid out of her own saved money to pay for this book and even extra for a plaque. the plaque came but no book. we called and called but regardless of how many times we did the company never honored their agreement to send the book.

KGLA Publications is a legitimate company that recognizes Middle School Students around the Nation. If you did not receive your previously ordered merchandise a phone call or email is all it takes to inform us of this. The great thing about being recognized in Who's Who Among Outstanding Middle School Students, is that students are getting the chance to put in biography form, all the activities and awards they have participated in and earned over the past few years. It serves as a great keepsake, one which students will be able to look back on years from now and recall their middle school years. There is no cost for being listed in the book and it is a great honor, one which to be very proud of.

We offer parents the opportunity, if they desire to purchase a copy of the book but it is not mandatory to be listed. Students can be nominated by a teacher, coach, youth leader, parent etc. We then send them an invitation and application. Eligibility in the book is determined by the information provided to us FROM the parent and student on the Biographical Data Form/Application. Just because a student receives an invitation does not automatically make them eligible. We invite you all to come to our website and check us out or just give us a call.
