WildBlue communications- Internet service provider. Called to set up. $300 for equipment would be billed in 30 days. 2 days after install charged the $300 to my bank- NOT 30 days. Caused issue in bank account- their rep Monique in Corporate office said she would have a meeting and fix my account as I was not the first with this problem. No word ever again from her and she has seemed to vanish from the company now.

After 75 days after install I began having down time a lot and dropping of my modem. Kept calling kept blaming my NEW computer. Called GEEK squad out who confirmed NOT my computer. (Had to pay them a nice chunk of change). Finally after 95 days of service with reoccuring problems I call (my $300 worth of equipment should have had a FULL 1 Year warranty according to my contract).

Well we did a test & said although I am paying for satellite service I was only getting dial up speeds. 1 out of 5 tests gave me "with in range" speed so they said I was fine. After arguing about being dropped offline all the time, I was passed to TIM in Technical escalations. He told me that yes they do charge a service call if the tech came out to my house & it was a problem I caused. But if it was faulty equipment I would not be billed.

I agreed. Tech came out- confirmed the "trio" was bad, replaced it and said it was equipment not my fault. A few days later- WIld Blue charges me the $75 I was told I would NOT be charged. Again causing my bank account to get messed up and causing things not to clear. I called, spoke to Leigha who said I shouldn't have been charged & she was sending something to finance! WEll that DID NOT help my bank situtaion.

So I reported to BBB. Next thing I know the BBB keeps giving them chances to respond and after 3 notices they finally did and said they have been fair and It is "my responsiblity" to have the funds to cover whatever they bill me for. However, if I am putting money in there for what Tim told me and they bill me a different amount who is at fault here? I rejected their comments and wanted to warn everyone of the scamming stuff they do. You will never get the same information twice when you call.

It takes about 30 emails and 50 calls before you here something twice. Jonah will lie to you over and over when calling customer service just to get you off the phone. No one takes any responsiblity and they blame everything from you to the weather for their billing errors, lack of consistant information and scamming ways.

This is my opinion and my story of what happened. I have email after email and report to bbb and bank statements, bills, and notes to prove what they did to me. They take NO responsibitly and have a "our way or the highway" attitude. They also pass the buck and blame customer for everything. Have they ever heard of the customer is always right? Stay away if you want to avoid this kind of mess!

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... CLICK HERE to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! It has been reported, when there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide. ..Remember. The BBB membership is not earned, it's paid for!
