William Jackson of the Jackson Group, is an alleged self-employed contractor. He was contracted to build cabinetry for my home. He was contracted to perform small projects prior to this incident.  I thought that I could trust him with a larger cabinetry project. 

He claims that he is an ex-football player for the Washington Redskins and that he also resides in Atlanta, Georgia.  One of his distinguishing features is that he has a very bad stutter.  In addition, he finds his victims in Home Depot's and Lowes Home Improvement stores.   He sometimes has his brother Eugene working with him.  He was suppossed to begin the project on December 15, 2013.   He asked for a $500.00 advance so that he could prurchase materials for the project. It is now February 2014 and were are unable to contact him.  He claimed that he was unable to complete the project because he had water damage to his home. In accordance to Wake County Public Records there are no properties listed in his name.  He uses a business address that is totally fake! The address is linked with an unaffiliated retired couple who resides in North Raleigh. 

We are now unable to contact him via telephone  or text messages.  

I have uncovered three similar reports in Mississippi, Georgia, and Tennessee.  I am responding to prior reports that asked that  all victims of this con artist to get together.   However, I have been unable to contact any of the other victims.

This man is a grade A felon! It appears that other victims have been taken for even larger sums of money.  He loves to prey on single women and senior citizens.  He needs to be apprehended so that he can answer for his crimes.
