William Q Battle 3rd, At one time was Managing Director of Safety for FEDEX GROUND in Walnut Cove N.C. His favorite line was "Safety Should Be The Number One Priority". Today he is s.Linehaul Manager for Fedex ground at Plattsburgh N.Y. Uneducated in the Trucking Industry he deliberatly operates his actions against FEDERAL MOTER CARRIER SAFETY REGULATIONS. Part.390.13 (aiding and abetting violations) to make him look good. Trucks run from Plattsburgh n.y. to Syracuse n.y. and back every night. 484 mile round trip. 350 miles of this trip is in a max speed of 55 miles per hour, multiple towns. Regardless of what  time you are dispatched one of the trucks has to be back at 6.00 am. This one truck has to drive 65 miles per hour the whole trip or Mr. Battles office is calling the driver "whats taking so long" This violation of the fedex operating agreement, and violation of the Federal moter carrier safety regulation. Was brought up in a contractor safety meeting. Mr. Battle and his boss MICHAEL IRELAND of syracuse n.y. Hub 132.Today that run is still operating illegally. Other violations are.392.8 392.2.392.3 The list can go on with proof. 396.7 is one of his favorite violations. "A Contractor" since sold his business, This man had trucks on Fedex for years. Two of the trucks were in such bad shape that the drivers of the two trucks went to William Q Battle 3rd to make the contractor fix the trucks to meet safety regs. on the fedex contract and the federal side. A contractor sat down with Mr Battle about the safety of the drivers of these trucks. Mr Battle informed the contractor it was none of his business. One truck hit a gaurdrail one truck lost tires twice. The drivers of the said truck wrote them up on their log books, The contractor came in the fedex office and signed off the repairs. The two drivers told Mr Battle tHE TRUCKS WERE NEVER FIXED.  Mr Battle did NOTHING. Just ask the drivers.FACT.
