Williamson Co. Child Protective Services, Taylor, TX CPS recommended that my parents remove my children from their home and never did an investigation! Taylor Texas

In November 2006, CPS "recommended" to my parents that they take my children from me and their home. This was done without speaking to me OR ever performing any type of investigation of myself, my family, any caregivers or my home.

CPS took my parents side immediately without gaining facts. They assumed my husband and I guilty and went on to lie both in their reports and on the stand in court.

After being involved in the case for about 8 months total, and paying for my parents testing/counseling but never mine or my husbands, CPS closed their case without ever performing an investigation or questioning any pertinent people to find out if my children were indeed warranted to be removed from their perfectly safe home environment and from their mother.

This has been 14 months of pure hell for our family. We have been ripped apart by the cruelty of people. I believe that had CPS done their job, this would never have happened. My children would have been spared the abuse of my father that I was subjected to growing up. CPS has repeatedly ignored my reports to them to "check up" on my children at my parents home. They assume that the children are safe and ignore reports from me that come from my children during the "supervised" visits that I am allowed every two weeks.

CPS is supposed to speak on behalf of the best interest of the children yet they failed to perform a mandatory investigation and have supported my children being placed in an abusive situation. This agency does not work on facts. I stringently believe that this is a CORRUPT agency! I think that the caseworkers are easily bought and that they do not care about childrens welfare in the least.

My family has been put through police questioning, interviews with psychologists and thousands of dollars in legal fees that we cannot afford all because one agency failed to protect my children!
