WIN VAN LINES IS RUN BY RUDE CRIMINALS WHO DO NOT RESPECT YOUR MONEY, PROPERTY, OR WELLBEING!!!
I read the other horrible reviews for Win Van Lines but I gave them the benefit of the doubt because when I emailed customer service regarding the complaints, the rep passionately defended the company. I thought (being the naive and trusting person that I WAS), that someone who was that committed to her company must be telling the truth. She and he corrupt team then proceeded to prove the reviews right.

This company has really gone overboard. Firstly, when they arrived to move our things, they tried to overcharge us for packing materials. As soon as we showed them the quoted price on our contract, they changed their mind. Then they told us that they were going to charge us hundreds of dollars to use our elevator! This was not in the contract and I specifically asked if there were any additional charges for elevator/stair use during the appraisal and the rep said no. One of the movers was very sick and he even defecated in our bathroom for 30 minutes!

The movers decided to carry the sofa down eight flights of stairs. On their way down, they left long, deep, gashes which damaged the wall and the paint. Once they took our things, we could not get a hold of them. When we did get a hold of them, we were insulted, mocked, ignored, and laughed at. They lied to us about what sort of insurance they had for these sorts of accidents, they said that their manager (who was in charge of authorizing everything) just left for the day every time we called at every possible hour, they ignored our emails, and so on.

After a week of constant emailing, calling, and pleading, they sent three painters (who were not painters we now know) to fix the walls of the stairway. The painters did a spot job and ruined the walls even further. It has been three weeks since they ruined the walls again and we still have not spoken to a manager. Our landlord is charging us $650 to fix Win Van Lines mistake. They said that sending their maintenance men was enough and that they do not need to pay for further destroying the walls. We are still trying to get through to a manager but no one will talk to us.

Lastly, they failed to include a box $1000 worth of textbooks with our initial shipment. We called to report this and they said that they had our box sitting there but they never told us about it. Now we are trying to get our belongings back but they will not return our calls/emails.

This has been the worst experience I have ever had with any sort of company. The employees even disclosed that they work for a corrupt company after we put our things on their truck! I now see that many other people have reported their criminality. Please stop this company.

Win van lines did a good job for us

Hi
I just wanted to comment on the report written regarding Win van lines .I feel its really unfair. There are many friends of mine who moved with Win van lines and they all had great expriences with Win van lines.I feel its really unfair to judge them based on a single bad experience.Let me narrate my moving experience and people you will know how hassle free it was.
I collected quotes from 10 to 12 moving companies and I chose Win Van Lines. I appointed the movers a month ahead of the move and they called me for certain information from time to time. On the final day the movers were approximately on time and did not take much time for packing the stuffs. I live on the third floor, but the movers did not complain while moving my stuffs up and down, they were also polite and very well-behaved. They moved me from California and I'm happy with their service.
