I have had the pleasure (sarcasm) of living at Windsor Mountain Park Ranch in Phoenix, Arizona for the last 10 months. We have paid our rent each month on-time and in-full. This month, however, we received notice on our door that they never got payment from us. We showed up a couple days later to show them the copy of a deposited check which they photocopied. They apologized for the inconvenience and we left. A few days later we were processed served an eviction notice. We again had to go down to the office and re-show them the photocopied check they deposited. They said they would cancel the suit immediately and apologized yet again. As of today, the suit (which is both false and an abuse of process) has not been cancelled. This has been a month of harassment from the front office all because they are having issues with their accounting system. I am told that they, as a management team, will give us nothing for the inconvenience and we are stuck with this management for remainder of our lease. As of today the case against us for paying our rent on-time has not been dropped. We continue to fight it at our own expense. I am also told by a number of other tenants who have paid their rent in full that they too have been served an eviction notice because of accounting issues.
This mind you is bad enough, but if you take into account that swimming pools were out of commission for much of our lease, that we have had an ant infestation for many of the months weve lived here, that parking is so horrible Ive had friends towed as they visited for 20 minutes because they were no spots available not to mention, our assigned parking spot is nearly 200 yards from our front door. Noise is an issue, theft is an issue (weve had belongings stolen off of our back porch), and management doesnt seem to care about any of it. They especially dont care about decency, customer service, or tenant relations. Try talking to current manager, Lewie Lampton about these very issues, and listen to the myriad of excuses youll get.
