I had to work with Windy Fleetwood on the film The Opera Game. From the very beginning she was a nightmare to work with. She is one of those people that lacks almost any real experience in producing films but is trying the fake it till you make it route and lying to everyone saying that she is some big time producer.

Right before we started shooting she fired the DP and Gaffer because they wanted to do things the right way. Then throughout the shoot, she held the possibility of firing everyone over our heads. If you tried to do things the right way and not her way, she would blow up. And she never let you forget how busy she was. She was constantly talking about everyone behind their backs and telling everyone how she could do everyone else's job better than them.

There was no planning what so ever and the script sucked.

When it came time to be paid, there was nothing but excuses and a lot of people got stiffed. I was told that before the shoot even started, there were equipment rental places that would not rent to the production because of her. I should have taken that hint.

Stay away from Windy Fleetwood.

WINDY FLEETWOOD FIRED TOPHER JONES NOVICE(DP)BEFORE FILMING STARTED:HE IS ANGRY POSTING LIES!

AUTHOR: FILM CREW NOLA - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, September 14, 2016

Topher Jones thanks for taking the time to post insults about me. It is really sad that when I FIRED you off “The Opera Game” it bought you to this low level of destruction. We realized that you were not ready to lead as Director of Photography for “The Opera Game”. You did not help yourself either by saying the script sucks and was lacking substance directly to the EP and Director who actually wrote the script. Also, not being able to answer key questions pertaining to the production shoot and locations was alarming.

I wore many hats. I worked as the Producer, Line Producer and 1st AD. Topher, if you cannot handle the heat from females in my position stay out flm production! My job is to make sure the production is on budget and has qualified people who will not criticize the EP and director of the film production script and vision. You left us with no choice after speaking with the other heads of the production regarding your qualifications. You were the one and only person FIRED on the movie. You were let go before we started filming during prep. Telling vicious lies because you were let go is not professional. You are so bitter, angry and hateful!  Reevaluate yourself and be mindful of how you attack film heads in this industry. No one wants to work with a person who posts lies in an attempt to destroy the success of their costly production, because he does not like you if you tell him what you expect and he cannot deliver or barely qualified

Any UPM, Line Producer and 1st AD must lead with a tough attitude and strength. They make the right decisions for the film and let go who does not work out. I imagine you will continue posting on others because, you have issues with authority, telling the truth about your true experience level and thin skinned (You appearance and conversation can fool someone unaware.)  Topher lets be clear...Filming 2nd unit underwater does not make you a 1st unit Director of Photography no matter what the movie is about. You just did not have the experience we truly needed in that position for our production. We had the right to change our mind.

One day, I am sure you will get your chance at Director of Photography. I pray you can let go of your bitter grudge, anger and negative energy to post LIES! I will continue to defend my work and my reputation. Ken Mask the writer and Executive Producer of “The Opera Game” signed the checks and paid everyone employed. He has excellent credit and accounts with the rental places and had millions in production insurance. I have never had an equipment rental agreement turn down or in my name. Every production I’ve worked rented equipment in the company’s name in good standing. I Windy Fleetwood stand behind my statement posted here. Unlike, Topher who hides his name cowardly from view. No one should give validity to a complaint, if no real name stands behind it. Man up and own your statement about me or you can always put your acting hat back on on and pretend it was not you. Topher, everyone knows it’s you.
