Wiseman Management, Jojo (Manager) And Michael (Boss) The managers who don't give a d**n, failure to disclose apartment's problems, dishonest slime-ball Los Angeles California

Around the areas of the 405 and 10 freeways in West Los Angeles, you will see many apartment buildings managed by "Wiseman Management." They all claim to be "luxury" apartments. Let me tell you about the "luxury" I've been living in since last July. Most of the neighbors are non-english speaking people so asking them to turn down their music or pick up their trash is fruitless. Complaining to the managers is even more fruitless. I've been writing letters since last September and nothing has yet been done.

The apartment I live in had no locking windows and is just now, this week, getting fixed. The screen door is all torn up. The pantry door and bathroom doors don't shut due to many layers of paint. The neighbors don't throw their trash in the bins; no, they put it outside their doors. The building echos so anyone talking on a phone outside blares out to the rest of the building. There was no heater all winter long - they finally installed a heater on March 6th.

But best of all, there is NOT SUFFICIENT enough hot water to take a shower in the morning. For over a month now, I've had to take freezing cold showers in the AM. On some days, I'm lucky enough to get luke warm water for about 2 minutes then it goes back to freezing cold again. They knew about this prior to renting me this apartment too - their plumber told me so.

My neighbors moved out because of these problems. I asked for compensation of some sort due to the miserable conditions I've had to live with and of course, they denied my request. No shock there! These guys are bullies and are extremely greedy.

This morning I had the Department of Health and Safety out to see the building and she's doing her report now. She was shocked at the garbage outside everyone's doors and the lack of hot water. She took the temperature and it's most definitely not up to the standards they require. What makes me the most mad is that they KNEW about these conditions prior to renting me the apartment!!!

So if you like living in a garbage dump and having to take freezing cold showers in the morning, then by all means, contact Wiseman Management and move into their "luxury" apartments!!
