Witabitt.com Notice Hewett Packard advised me of witabett.com who poses as an anti virus addware is indeed a virus itself. I Have Been Ripped Off!!!! Internet

On 7-22-09 my P. C. showed a red labeled warning that my personel information was under attack. Then a label from witabett.com with a gold shield label page appeared. They offered a $29.95 Personell antivirus addware. When I put my credit card information in the amount went to $109.85 charged to my account. The next page that appeared was to inform me that a reciept would be sent to my e-mail address. It never appeared.

I imediately called Hewett Packard technical support and was advised that this was indeed a virus itself. The tech. stated that I would not be able to track them down and to call my credit card co. imediately after we finished repairs on my computer.

I am now into my second week of trying with my credit card co. to track them down. The phone number given with witabett.com will give you another 800 number that simply askes for your credit card information and then hangs up on you. Over and over.

My credit card co. is working with me to get the charges dropped. I have filed a formal complaint with them.
Please be advised of this scamm. I am now very concerned about my information being in the wrong hands and changing my card number.

I just pray that it all gets resolved without any further damages to myself or my identity.
Hewett Packard informed me to never trust anything unfamiliar on the internet again. They are very decieving looking as their labeling looks alot like H.P. itself to the untrained eye.
