I emailed my offer for a car 3 times without ever getting a response, so I drove over and made my offer in person on the fifth day. Saleman immediately recalled my emails but never offered a reason not to have contacted me. He knew nothing about the car and had to call the owner 4 times to get answers to my questions...owner did except my offer and was very friendly on the phone but told me I would have to wait on him to get there to complete the deal, said he was on the way and would be there in 15 minutes. Never heard from again until he arrived 2 hours later without explanation or apology. We settled on a price that included the lot fixing two optional items that i found did not work, and the navigation CD ($323) would be found and available to me the next day. I paid cash, as in actual cash...$9989.

From the minute I pulled out my cash I was no longer treated like the 22 year business owner I was treated like before but instead as though I was an undesirable. I was rushed through the rest of the paper work and fairly shoved out the door. Next day I called to book the car for the fixes and to get my navigation CD. No return calls after three messages throughout the day. Following day after trying to call twice with no return answers, I called from my brothers phone and got an instant answer, but they were too busy and not found the CD yet. A week later I return home to Alabama and find that I cannot tag the car due to a mistake made on the title by the dealer. Called for three days without a return answer but again got them to answer by calling from another number. They told me that Alabamians were the idiots of America and would not comply with such stupid peoples ignorant demands.

The next day I showed up in Memphis in their office with a threat to call a lawyer...The owner took my title and while fixing it he screamed obscenities to me to pass along to the stupid people of Alabama, including he really wouldnt have taken my offer if he had known I was from stupidville. Shop here if you like but the character of the people are far below even bad standards. In the meanwhile, the car overheated while I was in Memphis on that trip and I took it to the import mechanic on Resources Dr off Sycamore. It had a leaking head gasket that had been attempted to fix with stop leak additive and a number of electronic sensors that had been bypassed to make it pass inspection. Total bill $3287 and a week in the shop....out of town. I hope lightening splits the owner in half!! Plus $323 for the navigation CD I went ahead and ordered from mercedes
