I signed up to make money from home by making a commission off products sold by reputable companies. It was an e-mail I opened in Feb. 2008. A man by the name of Mark Baker, a representative of Paramount Marketing contacted me by phone and talked me into a program that would do all the advertising for me and bring people to my website. I paid $3000.00 for it, because he assured me I would be making great commissions. He was very anxious to get my money from my bank account.

He faxed me a paper to sign and I signed it and faxed it back. He called me to tell me how to get to my website and that was the last time I heard from him. I kept checking my website and there was never a commission made. When I called the company they always said it would just take a while for my website to get up and running. It is now January 21st, 2009 and I have not made one single dime and their only response now is that I'm just one of the few that hasn't made anything yet. (Yeah Right!)

I recieved a call on December 9, 2008 from a Michael King representing World Wide Marketing and Associates. He wanted to help me out since he noticed I had not made anything with my Paramount endeavor. He assured me I could be making a lot of money each week and month by purchasing their advertising program which would include tv ads and a lot of visitors being sent to my web sight. He said I could expect a check within a week. He made it sound so good I signed an agreement he faxed me and I faxed back.

The cost of this was $9,475.00 to be charged to my credit card. He assured me I would be making enough to pay this off easily. Within an hours time I wanted to knock myself in the head for being so stupid. When he called at 8:00a.m. the next morning I explained to him I had made a grave mistake.

I did not have much money, was a single parent with lots of health problems and this was only going to make matters worse. After a great deal of arguing back and forth he finally agreed that he would see what he could do and take care of it. That was a complete lie, because I checked by credit card balance and the amount had been charged to my card. I was furious and felt like I could have a stroke. I never was able to get a hold of him again.

I talked to numerous people and told them the story and they said they would see what they could do. One guy even said the information had been sent to the President of the company, Tony somebody and he would have to decide. They said they would call me back when he e-mailed them his decision. Of course that did not happen. I also found out that Paramount Marketing was part of their company when a guy called me to see if I had
received my advertising packet, which I never have and I told him I did not want any packet. I told him I went through this with Paramount Marketing and made nothing. He said he wasn't familiar with that company and when I called the number back that was on my caller ID, a lady answered it saying, "Paramount Marketing."

I continue to try to call them, but always get "This mail box is full," or the other number says, "All circuits are busy now." I just want to get this whole thing settled. It absolutely ruined my Christmas and birthday because I worried about it so much. My oldest son is the only one I've told because I feel so stupid for falling for such a scam again.

I did manage to get to talk to one guy a few weeks ago and told him his company could be found in "Rip-off reports.com." I also told him I was reporting his company to the Better Business Bureau, which rates their company D- and am going to dispute the charges when my credit card statement comes in. My prayer is that this nightmare will all be over and hope no one else will get scammed like I did.

District Attorney, Arapahoe County, Colorado, re: World Wide Marketing

AUTHOR: Countrybumpkin - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 04, 2009

The phone number to the District Attorney, Arapahoe County, Colorado: (720) 874-8500. This is a direct line to the investigator for consumer complaints/fraud. Leave your name, phone number, and a brief message about WW Marketing. The investigator will return your call. I would suggest that in your message you tell him how much money WW Mktg has scammed from you. Don't go into a lot of detail. He will return your call the following day.

I Am The Second Victim

AUTHOR: Dshaver - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, July 23, 2009

I went through the same ordeal that you did with the same company. On February 23, 2009 I received a call from a representative, Ray Russell, of National Opportunities who was also associated with World Wide Markeing and Associates, LLC. They did the same song and dance routine offering me a 'too good to be true' home based business opportunity that would be making me money almost momentaily after I signed up. I was given a website after paying $229.00 for start up cost. He then offered me a neat advertising package where I didn't have to do anything but watch the visitors come to my website and the commissions role in. This cost me a total of $19,000.00 which was taken in Mach by one of the same persons, Mike King whom you talked to. I waited until mid April seeing no commissions in my website. I decided that my suspicions were confirmed. This is a scam! So I submitted a complaint to the Attorney General of Colorado and the Better Business Bureau. The Company is really on the defensive saying that I was not guaranteed commissions just like you don't always buy something when you walk into a store and that this was a contract signed by me to get the whole package. From now on if I receive any calls offering me a home based opportunity that sounds simple to work and that will pay you fast, I definitely will not fall for it - at least not without a fight first!
