I received the 3 day 2 night offer after donating a vehicle to Kars4Kids. The offer states you must call Worldwide Travel center before you can send in your request. The whole process is really lengthy but I figured if it's free you have to expect some hoops.

The lady on the phone was nice to me only after I reported our income. I had a few questions and was able to get a supervisor on the line. Basically you have to send in $50 and it is only refunded to you after you listen to a 90 minute time share offer.

From doing other research on this company I found out if you are not willing to listen to the presentation they will put you in a motel near the resort. Also, if you do not report an income of $50,000 or higher the representatives at Worldwide Travel are rude, in some cases hanging up on callers.

Even if you are able to meet all the criteria (see their terms and conditions) it does not seem worth it for a few nights stay in a hotel.

I will be throwing this offer in the garbage. The whole thing is just a way to recruit people to these time share presentations. Waste of time and a big NO THANK YOU.

#2 UPDATE EX-employee responds

I worked in reservations

AUTHOR: Christopher - (U.S.A.)

Friedburg owns the company- that is why he rebuts each complaint. I met him. the truth is- we don't tell people a timeshare presentation is a requirement- but it is. If you don't meet the income requirement or are not willing to go through a timeshare tour- your dates "are not available" then we note it and make you jump through hoops until you give up. This is strictly a timeshare tour.
