I was given a voucher for a free vacation from Worldwide Travel Center. However, when I tried to redeem it I have had nothing but problems. The company makes it impossible to follow the rules that it doesn't clearly state, gives you wrong and imcomprehensible information and has zero customer service.

I called to redeem my voucher. When Gary found out I wasn't married the availabilty of what locations available suddenly changed. I asked for an explanation, I was only told that that was what the computer said. It seemed strange. I asked to speak to a manager who could also not explain why. It made me feel that I was not a priority as a customer and was only going to be given the bottom of the barrel.

I started to feel uncomfortable. I said I was not interested in seeing the timeshare video. Again, the availability changed. I asked to speak to a manager. Nicole said to send in a check for $50 as deposit and the form on the voucher with 3 choices. She said I was guaranteed to get at least on of my choices.
The voucher was returned to me saying that the reason was because: "I, (print name), the undersigned authorize (blank line) hotel to charge my (type of credit card Visa/MC/Amex/Discover) credit card, (the number and the cards expireation date), for the required security deposit".

This made no sense to me. The letter did not explain what I needed to do, just that if I wanted to resubmit I would have to send another check for $3 as a resubmission fee. I had to take time out of my day to call and speak with someone at the company. I explained that I didn't understand what the letter said. Frarn explained that I had to include a credit card authorization along with my voucher. Nicole never told me that and no where in the small print on the back of the voucher does it explain this. Plus, my credit care (the one they needed permission to use) already had a $50 charge from Worldwide Travel Center on it, so why would I know I had to send a verfication form. This could not be explained. When I asked how I get it back I was told I would have to apply for it to get it back. More time and frustration on my part when it was not my error. So frustrating!!

Now if I resubmitted I would not be within the 30-90 day window requirement. My voucher would expire before I could use it. Fran did not have any sympathy. So I asked to speak with a manager and was put on the phone with a woman named Keri. I explained that it was not my fault I didn't have the credit authorization because Nicole did not tell me I needed that component. I said that I understood I could not be accomodated because it was less than 30 days to my departure date. If they could not accomodate me, then I wanted the $15 extension fee waived as a customer courtesy.

Keri finally said to send in the resubmission with the paperwork and they would see what they could do. Well, the only thing they did was cash my check for $3 and send me back the voucher denying travel. Now I have less than one week before it expires and don't know what to do. I want to talk to someone who can help me, talk to me with respect and knowledge and provide me with good customer service.
