I bought a 67 Chevy k10 and it was advertised as a rebuilt 350 engine with only 22k miles on rebuild.after driving it a few times I noticed a lot of oil leaks,I thought why is so much oil leaking if the engine was rebuilt. Long story short the rear main seal was the biggest leak so before I bought parts for it I checked the engine code stamped on the motor and it verified that it was a 283engine not a 350.I called them to get some money back and the only thing they offered after many no returned phone calls was 350 dollars to pay for parts to fix the oil leaks myself!I forgot to mention that the 283 motor is the original motor and by what I can tell has never been rebuilt which explains all the oil leaks. They should not be allowed to get away with this kind of business. If you are a consumer think twice before buying from this company. If anyone out there would like to help me resolve this I would appreciate the help

I like this one! If you can absolutely prove the car advertised with a 350 is the exact car you bought, you just might have a great case! The problem is how can you prove the advertised car is the exact car you bought rather than them lying and saying, "that was another car we sold prior to this sale". Does any of the paperwork you have say it has a 350? You should be able to have this resolved at the Small Claims level.
