I am writing in regards to the unprofessional company called " worldwide who's who".

This company made a call to my home trying to sell me a 3 year prescription for their website.  I was not interested.  They the woman proceeded to try and tell me about a one year offer that included 2 free airline tickets to fly anywhere and anytime I wanted.  This got my attention since I fly a lot.  So I told the sales rep that if this was in fact a deal then I would be interested only for the free airline tickets.

First of all I never got my tickets as promised in some kind of packet that was supped to be mailed out to me.  No packet what so ever.  A month goes by so I emailed them to cancel the subscriptions.  they said they can't due to the nature of the service.  So I filed with my credit card company.  I lost to this poor situation because I had no proof of my complaint of the airline tickets!

So I email them about the tickets once again and asked when I would be expecting them.
So I get in the mail a brochure and a form to fill out to get the tickets.
Well,  I have to buy a vacation package with them on selected dates and selected airline!!!!
This was all a major scam to sell me a vacation package that is all!  This company has NO INTEGRITY what so ever.  They have lied the whole time about this call and have won the system to scam hundreds if not thousands of people!
I highly recommend to NEVER get into the worldwide who's who scam.  You will regret it and will NOT get what you had been promised!!

Thank you for the confirmation

I am writing to add my short experience with this company:

I was also contacted by Phone by this company through a blocked number. During the sales speech, a request was made to have my credit card number in order to start a one year subscriptions as the author of the report mention with the 2 free airline tickets.

My suspiscion automatically raise at this point as no business should have as acceptable practice to request a credit card number over the phone from a blocked number: There is no way for me to identify who am I giving my credit card number to! Even my bank, undersdand this very simple principal and would never call me and ask personal information: They simply ask me to call them back: I can then be sure that i am speaking to who I am supposed to.

When this company did provide me with a phone number, I could not succeed to identify the company behind it and arrived on this report instead which prompted me to end any dealing. So thank you to the author of this report for the time, money and ressource saved on this issue.

Rebuttal, with all due respect! It is never wise to say or do negative things to any and/or all people or organizations. I have spoken to these very kind and passionate representatives of WorldWide Who's Who.

Generally, negative commentary is usually only a reflection of the person, who or whom, is complaining. This very professional company is exactly like every other good business, that one may already be subscribing to. It simply means that one did not ask the correct questions, did not read the fine print and did not follow the instructions written very accurately.

By writing a negative comment, one usually only proves their own ignorance.

WORLDWIDE WHO'S WHO SCAM

AUTHOR: DUPED - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, September 10, 2012

I am writing to confirm the experience of the person who initially posted this Scam. I was contacted by Worldwide Whos Who through LinkedIn. They called to tell me that they are interested in publishing my company in their Whos Who registry. After a lengthy sales pitch they mentioned that a three year membership is $399. I told them I wasnt interested because there is no value to my company. They then proceeded to tell me that the offer also includes a round trip for two anywhere in the world at anytime. I told them that was of value and signed up. They then said to expect a welcome package within two weeks. The package never arrived, so I called to inquire and to find
out more about the airline tickets. I was referred to One Stop Travel. Thats when I found out that the airfare for 2 is to only 40+ destinations and not everywhere. It also requires a hotel purchase that will cost at least $1000. I called to cancel and they refused on grounds that a) the airfare was a gift and not a service, and b) they had already set up a website for my company, so the $399 went toward that. I informed them that I never asked for a website since my company already has one that cost several thousand dollars to develop. They still refused, but as an inconvenience extended my membership to 5 years. I am disappointed because they approached me through a trusted source: LinkedIn. Please be warned that unless you are interested in being published in their directory, any other offers such as airline tickets are bait. I will continue to challenge
them through the Better Business Bureau and other organizations.
