I made the mistake of trying this companies pathetic excuse for a free trial, they give you seven searches of their so called database over seven days. So essentially one search per a day for a week or seven searches within a couple minutes. I tried this company once, decided to cancel  before the seven days were up which worked fine. A month or so later I decided to give it a second try and pay for a month of service. When doing this I signed up with a new email that I planned on switching all my accounts over too. I paid for my first month, tried their service several times over the course of a few days and decided I was done with it. It did not provide the sort of results that I feel were advertised, the eBay completed auctions often showed far more listings than worthpoint did for the same keywords, often worthpoint provided no results at all. Little did I know at the time, I logged in to the worthpoint app that I had previously downloaded, it was still logged into the original account that I first tried the service a month before, this somehow reactivated the old account. At that point I was charged another 20$ without my knowledge.  A couple weeks later I finally got around to cancelling what I thought was my only account just to find a week or so later that I'd been charged again on the account that I didn't even know I'd deactivated.

I admit it was partially my mistake but in total I'd been charged 60$ by worthpoint for a few days of actually using their service. I made a request for a refund which was denied by their condescending customer service agent who implied that I'd need to file a complaint with my financial institution which was also denied. I then filed a complaint with the BBB in hopes of getting back the 40 that I never intended on giving them, also got nowhere. I basically called me a liar and said I must have liked their service since I signed up twice and that they don't have to give my money back. This is a tone that is seen very frequently in reviews of this company, they are rude and once you give them money they will refuse to give it back for any reason. Their customer service is almost childish and laughable, once they know you aren't interested in keeping their service, any hopes of having them work with you goes out the window. Rather than as a guesture to keep customers and provide quality service they just refer you to their terms of service and refuse to give up a dime of any money they've taken no matter how little you actually use thier service and how poorly it actually performs.
