from myfreepaysite.com ,which i joined for a nominal 1 dollar,was led to another section of the web page.The same nominal 1 dollar was asked for,payment to be by credit card.It was said that 'no further payment would be deducted'.in ech case this was said to verify that i was over 18.each month ifriends hs taken money from my bank account,though not authorised to do so.have changed my bank account so the credit card number can not be used in the future.had to take this step as unable to cancel any subscription.

We thank you for joining MyFreePaysite.com, but we assure you that we did not charge you in any way. Our website is 100% free to join and does not require any payment, not even the $1 you mentioned.

What likely happened is that you joined a website which we advertise called iFriends.com which does cost $1 to join. They are a completely different website from us. They are a wonderful company with superb customer service. In their reply to your complaint, they have posted a toll-free customer care phone number where you can reach them any time.

Unfortunately, because there was very little specific information provided in this complaint, we were unable to locate an account matching the minimal details provided by Peter. We strongly encourage Peter to contact us so that we can resolve the issues described in his complaint. When he contacts us, we will be happy to issue a full refund of any charges which may have been billed to his credit card, and cancel the account, to ensure that Peter receives no further billing. From France, our toll-free number is 00-800-4374-3637.

Our Customer Care Center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - 365 days a year, and we encourage our customers to contact us immediately if they have any questions or concerns. To make this easy, next to each credit card charge we include a telephone number which the customer can call to get in touch with us. This number is toll-free, and is even customized for the user's country. We prominently post both telephone and email contact information on every page of the iFriends website.

In addition to iFriends, Peter mentions several websites in his complaint. Our company is not associated in any way with myfreewebsite.com or with myfreepaysite.com. If Peter has received charges from these companies, he will need to contact them directly to resolve the situation.

Peter mentions the "Elite" membership in his complaint. When a user creates an iFriends account, he or she is given the option to upgrade to a premium "Elite" membership. This membership carries a monthly charge. If Peter is seeing this type of charge on his statement, that means that when he created his iFriends account, he chose to subscribe to the premium membership. Unfortunately, as mentioned above, we were not able to locate an account. We do look forward to Peter contacting us so that we can resolve the issue to his complete satisfaction.
