I ordered a taillight from this company and upon openeing the box I noticed it was the wrong part. I sent it back within the 30 day return period and they tell me I sent the part back damaged. I had it out of the box for a mere 20 seconds and never took the bubble wrap off of it as I could tell right away it was the wrong part. Now they don't want to give me a refund because they say it had a scratch on it and is considered damaged. I understand it is a recession and companies are trying to save as many pennies as they can, but this is ridiculous! I never even took the bubble wrap off therefore I couldn't have scratched it in the 20 seconds the part spent outside of the box it came in! In addition to mailing the part back I even put extra bubble wrap in the box to avoid some lame-duck situation as this. I will never refer this company to anyone and I suggest that ANYONE that reads this post NEVER EVER do business with www.autoandart.com

If you need to return a part they will rip you off by saying it is damaged, as they did to me.

This customer has been FULLY REFUNDED, including shipping cost. They ordered the wrong part and inquired about return.  Upon receipt of the return, a full refund would have been given (less shipping).

When we received the return the item had a heavy scratch.  Unfortunately this prevents us from being able to restock and resell the item.  We let the customer know we could not provide a refund.  They were very upset (understandably).  Since that time, we have resolved the matter.

Our policies are clearly described on our website and in our eBay and Amazon listings.  This includes the fact that we only refund unwanted or incorrectly ordered merchandise in new and unused condition.

In truth, the accusations of our being a "ripoff" are unfounded. AutoandArt.com has been in business for roughly 12 years and is a successful online retailer of high-quality and new aftermarket auto parts.  Tens of thousands of satisfied customers through the years continue to shop with us due to our service, quality product and honesty. 

We have also been on eBay since 2000 and are rated as a Power Seller.  We have one of the highest feedback ratings of any auto parts seller on eBay.  We are rated as such due to our outstanding customer service and extremely quick shipping.  Our return rate is very small due to product quality.
