I ordered a Queen Comforter Set form www.dock24.com web site back on 07/10/2001. I used my bank card to order this comforter set. Later that week I checking my bank statement on line and noticed that dock24 had double debted my bank account.
I tried to contact them using the 1-800-527-0064 they publish on the web site. All you ever get is a recorded message, to leave a voice mail and they will call you back. Someone called me from customer service, and I explained them about the double debit, and that I wanted my money back for the overridge only they charged. The lady said she would turn over to their accounting dept.
I waited a couple of weeks and received no response. So I called again and again and left several voice mails and got no response. I turned this over to my Bank as unauthorized transactions, the double debit only. My bank refunded the double debit only, and left the 1 valid charge on the debit. Around 07/31/01 after still not receiving any calls back form dock24, I called 800-527-0064 and left a voice mail, and canceled my order which was order number:1672 for $159.99.
I have called them several times, and have not received my money back nor my order. I am only doing this out of desperation, I beleave I will not get my money back. I hope this report will stop someone else form making the same mistake I did.
I think this company needs to be investigated. I would also like to know what City or Town, dock24.com dose business form, so I could report them to their local law enforcement authorities and Better Business Bureau. Thanks Randy Haught

Rebuttal:
I would like to sincerely apologize, to any one that unfortunately was double charged by our Dock24 system! I would also like to take this opportunity to apologize, for the lack of communication during the trying times at Dock24.
We are in the process of the final change over from Dock24 to our Shamic & Company Inc. All we have remaining is the web process, of email addresses and web directories.
To Mr.Haught I would like to offer my personal apology, I know sir you had two orders with us and you received the first. I was mistaken, when I emailed you saying you had received your order, and you had only received the first order.
I have contacted our original credit card processor, and if you have not seen your credit by now, the next step is to call your credit card company and have a charge back done against dock24.
Use auth # 536201, when you speak to your bank. If you would like to speak to me, please call me at 757-580-5902. I would like to also offer you the bed spread you ordered for free. If this is something you would like to do, please call me or
email me at Dock24552@cs.com.
Again I am sorry for the inconveniance that we at dock 24 caused you! Our systems are go, and we are working diligently to go forward. GOD Bless America!
